  • At 2:22 the giant actually looks more like Ultimo the giant Android that fought Ironman than it does Giantman.

  • What movies did you use for this? They all fit together so well, I actually thought you might've acted it out yourself, but then I recognised ONE shot, just ONE. From Thunderball.

  • These are great! I love them!

  • If I ever go back in time to the late 1940's I am going to set myself up as a movie writer and give Hollywood this script so they can actually make The Avengers movie for the year 1952! So ummm anybody have a time machine they could let me borrow?

  • @o13starsnstripes I think Doc Brown might have one still hehehehe

  • That's Vultan from the Flash Gordon serials standing in for Thor.

  • Is that... Rudolph Valentino as Hawkeye? :-O

  • Freaking hilarious!

  • when and how did you get this together, it looks great, well 50s great

  • I am curious as to how you got the Daily Bugle logo onto the building and the newspaper. Was there actually a film that used the name "Daily Bugle?"

  • I love the fact that you've used television "Avengers" Mrs. Peel to stand in for the iconic version of the Black Widow since that's who they based her "recreation" on. (Look at some early art when she was wearing purple and fishnet stockings and used Hawkeye as a minion.)

  • Love the hulk Cameo!

  • Where did you get the Thor & Haweye clips from? And was that Yul Brener as Prof.X?

  • Could you explain where all of the footage came from?

    Thanks

  • You can see from these films what inspired Jack Kirby to come up with the iconic designs. He used elements of the 30's, 40's and 50's to give us the LOOK of the Marvel Universe that debut in the early 60's.

  • Quite simply, you're a genius sir. Well done.

  • REALLYYY AWESOMEEEEEEEEEE

  • That was fun! Well done, squire..

  • Nice work, man. The trailer itself was impressive enough, but seeing the frame by frame shows you put a lot of substance into it that isn't immediately obvious on a casual view, and for that you earn my respect. Cheers, and thanks for the quality views.

  • So cool!!! The only ones i didnt find myself where Jarvis, the Watcher and Reed Richards :) very VERY nicely done!!!

Keep up the good work, are you gonne make more of these Marvel related?

  • Awesooooome! Thanks for putting so much work into this.

  • THIS is why I love YouTube.com!!

  • That was so cool!

  • This is easily my new favorite thing ever.

  • Fun, fun TRUE BELIEVERS!!!

  • Damn I just submitted my eggs at the original vid. I was wondering who the guy with the pipe might be but thought more of the 'skrull' in the elevator as the key point. I FAIL....:(

I saw the Avengers Mansion but didn't have room to put it in!

More stuff in there than I thought.

    This Guy Rules!

  • @whoiseyevan Ya don't Say, What it orginally from?

  • @Vinny792 Jonathan Ross documentary called "In Search of Steve Ditko"

  • I didn't get what the photograph on the daily bugle newspaper had to do with Stan Lee. That person in it didn't look like him. Was it?

  • Wow even though I saw this at least 10 times when it was originally posted(Before the comics on sidebar of video) I got chills watching your video! Impressive!

  • Hey someone redid it. With the addition of the comics on the side that trailer gave me chills! Great job!

  • en verdad este video es una joya para todo aquel fan de comics y sobre todo de los de marvel.....

  • and they might actually include spiderman in the new avengers movie, there ganna reboot it and put spidey back in highschool

  • @supercoolguy125 But the rights are still on Sony, so Marvel can't use Spiderman in movies

  • @TheWolverine1987 im sure they'll make a deal =P

  • This is epic.

I wish it had been a real movie back in the '50s or '60s.

You sure know how to make a fan of the classic Marvel comics feel amazed.

  • wow, you Really know your Marvel comics!

  • Thank you THANK YOU!!! xoxox Great work!

  • That was great!

  • You guys rock! This was awesome!

  • Three minutes of pure win.

  • Superbe.

  • OUTSTANDING!!!

  • That was cool. Commander Cody as Iron Man.

  • damn, thought i'd caught em all...missed Jarvis, and thought Dr. Strange was supposed to be the Mandarin. lol! great stuff!

  • this is so awesome!!! I caught about 80% of the character cameos but thanks for identifying all the history bits and location cameos!

  • Extraordinary - Astonishing, Amazing, Fantastic, Greatest, Incredible, Invincible, Mighty, Uncanny.

Congratulations on your ingenuity and creativity.

That is a keeper - there should be a library for videos like this.

  • Emma Peel as Black Widow FTW! Liked.

  • see, why can't Marvel movies get people like you make their movies instead of the idiots they have? maybe get someone who knows what they're doing and talking about? someone who can pay homage skillfully where true fans can still be happy? this was better than any Marvel movie I've seen.

  • HATS OFF! WELL DONE! MAKE MINE MARVEL!!!

  • That was pretty sweet.

  • Probably will be far better than the movie they actually make- but let's hope not.

  • Mind sharing your sauces? The more obvious ones were the 60s Avengers, and the 50s Cap America serial. I picked out Wasp Woman, Colossal Man, Commando Cody, and that's it. Did you get Uatu from Forbidden Planet? Was that Hulk the Frankenstein in Frankenstein vs. Baragon? No idea where you got your Hawkeye, Wasp, Thor or Fury.

Just some head blowing questions, right there.

  • @plsburydoughboy yeah, i'm dying to know as well, especially dr strange. when was he in a serial?

  • you rock, dude!

  • GREAT!!!

  • I guess footage from that Captain America serial came in handy.

  • Congratulations! That was awe-inspiring.

  • I WOULD PAY MONEY TODAY!

  • I would've like to have seen which old movies you got the footage from.

  • Wow that was awesome/

  • Check the original post it includes a great explanation on how this was done.

And from what movies where the clips taken from.

    Great job!!

  • Anyone know what all the Thor footage was taken from?

  • I like the use of Cloudbase from Captain Scarlet as the helecarrier.

  • Man, I can't wait for the Thor, Captain America, and the Avengers movie. This wicked fan trailer has stoked my internal fire to such a degree...

  • Just as entertaining as the original cut. Great stuff!! Keep up the good work!!! Look out Marvel!! Pick this guy up quick before DC does.. Hehe

  • Is it just me, or does Xavier look like Luthor and Cyclops look like Clark Kent?

  • @Shadowjugement I was thinking the same exact thing the first time I saw the trailer.

  • My kind of operation. Well done!

Did I catch the Hulk's/Glenn Strange's face pasted over Glenn Manning/Glenn Langan's face at 2:53, for less than a second? Masterwork. B)

  • By far, one of the best fan trailers ever made!...BRAVO ZULU!!!

  • Lol i thought it was real intill u made that....

  • Man, that was AWESOME x 10!

  • I effing loved that!

  • You are beyond brilliant!

  • UNFUCKING BELIEVABLE

  • Impressive work! Nothing else like it, very interesting concept!

  • i recognize some of these clips from MST3K movies!

  • This was awesome. Where did you get all these clips from? Were these actual movie shorts from the 40's/50's?

  • I think this frame by frame breakdown is the best one yet because the Avengers film haven't been out yet and so you comic book frames to do the work which I think is cool.
