  • Awesome Transformation............after watching a few of these P90X transformation videos, its funny how alot of " AFTER " pictures/transformations of people, look as good as people on steroids. And no im actually NOT againest steroid use.

  • that was the lamest ending ever haha... nice transformation though!

  • Dude, you're before wasn't so bad because I could still see you underlying abdominals beneath the fat on your stomack, but your after...you're stacked. Congrats

  • DO A NATURAL BODYBUILDING CONTEST HOLY CRAP!

  • I have a question - when I look in a mirror my my body looks...strange. A worked out body should have a V-shape body, right? The problem is that it looks strange, my upper body is more square like. Should I work on my shoulders more or chest? Or is it my body and I can't change it? Also I have some strange "wrinkles" in area between shoulders and chests. I've never seen anything like this in an athletes body. Is it fat?

  • @K7Z947 It could be just how your body shape is bro. However, you might be able to change it some with the proper workouts. Are you doing P90X?

  • @CoachJoshS yes. Currently at the second phase.

  • @K7Z947 Some people are just shaped differently. However, even the "square" people can get some sort of V shape. I suggest working your obliques and lats (muscle on your back under your armpits) mainly. Broadening the shoulders with shoulder exercises will also taper the upper body slightly.

  • That's awesome! Can you please help me out with nutrition? I have p90x but only the DVDs. Can you please give me a list of great meals to eat every day or what you eat? Thanks!

  • @AIROUTSK8STER You can head over to my site iwanttogetripped*com and find a ton of diet tips to help you out.

  • Wow! It's really amazing!

    Regards of Spain.

  • Those triangle pushups are a bitch. For goalie training at highschool, we had to do 100 of em. I could do 20 before p90x, now I can do 110 while the other keepers only do 40, and the said I could never do it. Suck it. Anyways amazing results man, congrats.

  • Whats the name of this song?

  • Amazing results! I thought your website said i want to get tripped .com haha

  • you did p90x for 400 days?

  • @CoachJoshS How do you save money off the nutrition plan from P90X? It's really expensive for a 15 year old, you know! :P

  • @TheGolfdu It's obviously tough if you don't have the support of your parents, but if you do, then they should be willing to help you out. Also, you don't have to eat the exact foods listed, but ones that are similar in nutritional value. If you head over to my site iwanttogetripped*com, you will find my grocery list in the "Nutrition" section.

  • wow! amazing!!!! i want to try this out! but do u think i can still have a good result and get abs even without the pull ups?? and just resistance band and weights? coz im only planning on buying the resistance band coz i already have weights...

will that be enough to give me some nice toned abs?? im a girl btw and that's all i need, i dont really want a bulky muscle on my arms..hehe :D

  • @bLuebhErie YES! The resistance bands are good enough. Just make sure that you commit yourself to the ENTIRE program, which includes the diet. If you do, I guarantee that you will see results. Also, make sure you head over to my fiancé's site and request her as a coach. She's had OUTSTANDING results with P90X and can help you out! iwanttogettoned*com.

  • @CoachJoshS thanks! oh wow, i checked ur fiance's site, and dang! she looks gorgeous! i think i saw her video here in youtube b4, u two look great!!! im jealous of ur bodies..lol

i dont really know what coaching is all about, but i'll look into it once i start the program :D

  • not to be a smart ass or any thing but on the pull ups you are suspost to go all the way down don't just go half way. As in the videos they drop and hang for a sec then they pull all the way up...But besides that you had one incredible transformation!! love your results. i am on week 3 of my transformation so for so good.

  • @ShaggMobile Yeah I discovered that when I first made this video, which was a few years ago. I have since corrected! What kind of results are you getting?

  • @CoachJoshS i just started and i dont have a proper scale to weight myself . but the old scale i used said i was 202 and now i am 193 so i think i am doing good. i can notice myself doing 2 or 3 more reps. i am on the 3rd week and i plan on doing the doubles next phase to burn more fat. i look slightly different then my day 1 pictures but not to much i just need to keep pushing myself every day.

  • @ShaggMobile It's all about the diet bro! Make sure you're following the Nutrition Guide as closely as possible. You can actually find some sample diets of mine on my site iwanttogetripped*com.

  • @CoachJoshS i just want to get the smae results as you! haha looking good

  • @ShaggMobile It's all about commitment bro! Head over to my site iwanttogetripped*com to learn more about what I did.

  • @CoachJoshS sounds good thank you!

  • What the music ??

  • @Damirr59 Drowning Pool, Tear Away

  • Music please???? Whats the name of the song and by who??

  • Fuck i want to do this, i leave for the Marines on Feb 13th, im alrdy in prtty good shape, 6'1 190, but i want to b cut up like this, this gets me so pumped.

  • damn man that's amazing but i was wondering did you take any supplements? And did you follow the p90x diet?

  • @kamokam7 Yeah, you can actually find out how I followed the diet and what supplements I took on my site iwanttogetripped*com.

  • Amazing man,Very good job.

  • @Kakashisd Thanks bro!

  • heey Josh i was wondering what was the order for your programs you did for the whole 400 days ? was it all p90x ?

  • @hehehaha51 No, I mixed in some P90X Plus, One on One, and some Insanity.

  • heey man you're insane inspiration , great work !

im only 15 but ive done a round of p90x lean and two rounds of insanity

and im currently doing a hybrid of p90x classic and insanity and watching your vid gives me pure motivation ! BRING IT !

  • @hehehaha51 Awesome bud! Make sure you check out my site iwanttogetripped*com for a ton of tips to help you through the programs.

  • sorry for my bad english

hi i'm 14 and i have the same body as you before p90x and if i don't do the yoga x

will i get good results ?????

my goal is too look like u after finshing 90 days when u was in 40 days

    i hope u understand what i mean

  • @mrbayouba22 There are a ton of benefits of Yoga, and it's important to complete it. I wish I would have focused more on flexibility when I was your age. Also, make sure you head over to my site iwanttogetripped*com, where you will find a ton of tips to help you through the program.

  • @CoachJoshS i have one problem i can't work on my flexibility because i play rugby

  • you think i did to much i did on mondays wednesdays and fridays i would do one insanity workout then right after i did p90x consecutively and on tuesdays and thursdays i did two insanity workouts right after each other

  • @FollowTheDeath Yeah, that's a little too much.

  • You look like a ripped version of Nick Swardson!

  • I just started this week and every time I do each disc, about halfway through I am just done. like I can only do like 1 push up after the first twenty minutes of chest and back. And it's definatley not increasing my motivation :\

  • @FourForGlenCoco If anything, wouldn't that increase your motivation? When I was in the same position and that happened to me during my 1st round, I felt more motivation to continue because it showed me just how out of shape I was. If you need some motivation, check out the "motivation" section of my site iwanttogetripped*com.

  • @FourForGlenCoco Tony says it best "do your best and forget the rest". Push on. I guarantee you will see improvements (some areas faster than others). Week 1, I could only finish Shoulders and Arms. I can now complete all except for Yoga, but every week my endurance has gotten about 40% better. I was especially proud of Plyometrics and don't think I ever had clothes so wet from sweat my entire life.

Maybe try doing modified push ups to start (on knee). Maybe break up workout into 2 sessions

  • which workout did you use ? classic , lean or doubles...?

  • @Hutchings0011 Classic to start out with and then I moved to Doubles.

  • When you first started did you do exactly what the meal plan told you to do or did you either incorporate a cheat day every week or eat somewhat healthy 2 or 3 days a week and extremely healthy the rest of the week?

  • @HitMan24000 I followed the P90X Nutrition Guide pretty closely, but made a few adjustments to make it a little easier, and you can find out what changes I made in the "Q&A" section of my site iwanttogetripped*com.

  • iam 6ft9 and 200 going to get p 90 x

  • @VECHTOMOVED Head over to my site iwanttogetripped*com, where you will find a ton of great tips and can even purchase the program.

  • 16 years old, 6'3, 230 solid, i want abs, is p90x worth the money, or is it worth trying it on my own first? im trying to still be in good shape for football not just look good at the beach

  • @13craj Definitely worth the money bud. Learn more about the program on my site iwanttogetripped*com.

  • dude question.. aside from the workout did you follow supplementation? what preworkout and recovery drink did you use? Coz I find it hard to complete the exercises w/o supplements.

  • Im 5"7 and about 180 lbs but i want to become heavier (muscles), is that possible??

  • @afghankillah Yeah. What you need to do is check out the "Gaining Mass" section of my site iwanttogetripped*com.

  • Im 5"7 and about 180 lbs but i want to become heavier (muscles), is that possible??

  • @afghankillah Yeah, head over to my site iwanttogetripped*com and check out the "gaining mass" section.

  • im 17 years old 6ft4 181 pounds and i can benchpress 550 pounds for 2 reps. is that good?

  • @drastaify Well, you're strong as heck, so I guess that's good, but what do you need to lift so much weight for?

  • @CoachJoshS I think most people do p90x not to be strong but to look good

  • @yevgeniyRUS That's not the case for me. I actually got MUCH stronger using the program.

  • Im gonna do insanity to get skinny and a little ripped then im gonna do p90x to get RIPPED

  • the song is called tear away ;P

  • @CoachJoshS Is P90x all you did? you didn't transition to insanity for example? did you take any breaks between one full round and the next one or did you go nonstop? I'm in day 20 of my first round of p90x and struggling cuz i'm a very skinny guy trying to gain mass. I've gained about two and a half pounds, i don't really have much trouble gaining weight cuz i've done it before, the real problem is to keep the fat from creeping up while gaining weight... any tips?

  • @aeklant I went from P90X to P90X Plus, to Insanity, to One on One, to Asylum, and now I'm doing hybrids of them all. What you need to do is head over to my site iwanttogetripped*com and check out the "gaining mass" section. It will help you out! Also, make sure you make me your coach so I can help you through the program.

  • what is the name of this song it would be great to workout to also if you have any other songs to workout to i would appreciate it

  • what is the name of this song it would be great to workout to

  • did you do the diet along with the workout?

  • @whyaname1234 Yes! Diet is the most important part of the program.

  • any one know how to get the pull up bar to stay in the door way if you don't have strong moldings around my doors

  • Why is coachjoshS answering like he was the person on the video, he does the same with Melinda in her video.

  • @popactor Because it is me in the video. Melinda is my fiance.

  • nice,

what's your height and before/now height?

  • @gayaznaznman I'm 5'7" and about 165 lbs.

  • Did your legs grow with this program? It seems like you put on a lot of mass. I'm curious whether this was an effect of the program/diet or you incorporated other weight training workouts?

  • @tactteam00 Yeah, they did. Actually, it's one of the areas I had the most results with, but I just don't ever think about taking pictures of my legs. Also, the only leg workouts that I have done are the ones from P90X and the One on One series.

  • @CoachJoshS Hey Josh, I really need to know, do you need to do all of the programs to get these results or did you just do certain programs or just one program a day, I really need help because im trying to get rid of my gut and want to build a bigger chest with this, and I don't know if i should do all the workouts or just do cardio x? Please help me. BTW How long would it take for me to loose about 30lbs of fat from this?

  • @shaboooya You mean workouts? I follow the workouts that are supposed to be done with the program. Check out my site iwanttogetripped*com for more tips about following the program.

  • Great results man...today is day 1 for me and it went great! Sweet website too...although I still have some basic questions primarily with the nutrition guide

  • @MalfHunter Thanks bro! On my site is my email where you can send me your questions.

  • @CoachJoshS I really need to know, do you need to do all of the programs to get these results or did you just do certain programs or just one program a day, I really need help because im trying to get rid of my gut and want to build a bigger chest with this, and I don't know if i should do all the workouts or just do cardio x?

  • Can i ask you a question?

Could you do a full video lesson from the first week or did you need to build it up?I work long hours, to 11 hours a day and have a phisically hard job and i just can't do the full video lesson and i kinda feel bad about it, i feel i'm overdoing it all at once since i work hard and all, but i still wanna make it through the program.

Awesome results by the way and congrats with your nomination!

  • @DaZeDmerlin I'm not quite sure what you're asking me to do. Just follow the program! Also, make sure you check out my site iwanttogetripped*com for some great tips to help you get started.

  • Hey guys im 14. Check out my P90X results. Thanks

  • hey if im already a skinny guy should i still do plyometrics or will it make me get skinnier? i dnt want to lose calories i want to get buff like u! can u help me?

  • @MegaTlok Cardio is important, but you're going to want to limit it if you're looking to gain some mass. Head over to my site iwanttogetripped*com and check out the "gaining mass" category.

  • @MegaTlok leave out the plyo and l the boring voga matter fact just work out monday wed and fri for the whole first month then the second month bring in cardio and the 3rd month do the same as first month but follow the phase 3 leave out boring voga

  • I was skeptical but after seeing this i have to try the p90x Challenge!!!

  • @Alejandro1313sixx Awesome!

  • today is my 90th day of p90x im 185 pounds at 5'10 i have a little gut and my upper back is good but what exercises can i do for my lower ?

  • @Dignifiedbigboy Your lower back or stomach? Remember, diet plays a major role in your results, so if you're looking to lose more body fat, commit to the Nutrition Guide. Also, make sure you head over to my site iwanttogetripped*com for some great tips to help you through the program.

  • this may sound like a dumb question but do u get much of an increase in size on the arms druing p90x? hard to see by the pics

  • @Insurrectionx13 I'm pretty sure I started at 13.5 and ended at 15.5 in arms.

  • BEAST!

  • u have facebook bra?

  • @chakas88 facebook*com/joshspencerfitness

  • nice job

  • Hey what's this song called??

  • @louisdiaz316 its called tear away by drowning pool i believe

  • holly smokes. you look muscular in day 400. huge improvments. there is still hope for me :)

  • you should do pull ups from deadhangs. theyll do you more good. great results by the way!

  • you should do your pull ups from deadhangs. theyll do you more good. awsome results btw

  • @wrokjon Yeah, I made the correction about a year ago. Thanks though.

  • Hey josh im the guy who messaged you on facebook i was wondering when im doing p90x do i still count the days im resting or stretching in my my 90 day calender?

  • @Leslie13rocher Yeah, rest days still count.

  • Hey josh im the guy who messaged you on facebook i was wondering when im doing p90x do i still count the rest days in my my 90 day calender?

  • @Leslie13rocher Yes!

  • Is it possible to do

1 month of lean, then do the next month of classic then the last month doubles?

Or sgould i choose 1 and stick to it?

    thanks

  • @MajorKicks15 You could do that, but I would just stick with the Classic, which is the best.

  • It says you did it for 400 days - did you repeat the nutrition part of the program after every 90 days or did you just stick with one phase for the whole 400 days?

  • @muzakaly I made constant adjustments to my diet. Also, I've incorporated other programs into my training as well. Programs like P90X Plus, Insanity, One on One, and Turbofire.

  • Well, some people will have to do P90x 3- 4 times to get really ripped. Other ( due to previous weight lifting experience) will need less attempts at P90X...but to all...Good luck!!!

  • Hey Josh, i'm heading into phase II of p90x. i'm a pretty skinny guy, and brining on muscle mass is my goal. I have read online that some suggest to cut out a cardio workout when aiming for this goal, would you recommend this, or have any other suggestions in terms of making bigger gains? Also which should i cut out if that is advisable, thanks!

  • @shartanne Yeah, you want to limit the cardio if your goal is to strictly gain mass. Head over to my site iwanttogetripped*com and type in "gain mass with p90x" in the search box. Search around and you'll find some posts that will help you out.

  • @CoachJoshS If he wants to gain "muscle" mass, cutting cadio would not do such a thing. If for some reason he wanted to get fat or something, go for it. But there isn't a reason to cut cardio. Getting huge muscle gains won't happen in 90 days. Make sure your eating enough healthy calories to not burn muscle and you will gain muscle over time if you keep working out.

  • @regnierx12 The only way that I can add on mass is to cut out most cardio. Right now I'm the strongest and the leanest I've ever been because I lift 6 times per week and do one cardio.

  • Just started P90X, I can't do pull ups to save my life, any hints on strength for pull ups?

  • @chrisdavies23359 You need to do the modified versions with a chair. Head over to my site iwanttogetripped*com and type in "Modify P90X" in the search box.

  • man you look great nice job! Your pullup form could use some work, maybe you don't have enough room with that low bar or something.

  • @braden252 Thanks! I posted this video quite a while ago, and already corrected the form.

  • Good shit i start my 90x mission next week

  • What times during the day did you usually work out??

  • @SCARLETTROAD I usually work out in the evenings.

  • I have two questions for you, did u do any working out prior to p90x? and is all u did from day 1-400 was p90x ? No other program ? Just curious.

Btw ur results are great. Congrats

  • @PbWarrior366 I used to be a college baseball player and lift in the gym, but stopped that and fell out of shape. After my first round I did P90X Plus and then eventually incorporated some Insanity and One on One.

  • i jus started a 3 days ago. its though but i love it! how many weeks till u start seeing results?

  • @Mikkey60 I started seeing results around the 2 or 3rd week. Make sure you head over to my site iwanttogetripped*com for some excellent tips to help you through the program.

  • @Mikkey60 I'm just starting week 3 right now and CoachJoshS is correct, that's when you start to see results. Keep with it, maintain a good diet plan and workout schedule (1 hour or so everyday). Just got done with my workout for tonight. Felt good but painful:-)

  • Good work bro, keep the good work ! :D

  • @Manjgo Thanks bro!

  • Jesus man your professional photo is so photoshopped you look like a plasticized serial killer with simple jack teeth.

  • @Blackoutx86 You have no idea how pissed off I was when I got my pictures back. Complete waste of money.

  • What disks did you use? And in what order?

  • @Malusa04 I followed the order that is described in the Fitness Guide.

  • @coachjoshs can you email me your diet plan? My user name on beachbody is zricky. Thanks!

  • @repauley007 You can find info on my diet on my site iwanttogetripped*com.

  • how come ur pull up doesnt go all the way down?

  • @trilingualkid I wasn't using proper form, but I've corrected it since.

  • why do you do half pull ups... you need to go all the way down to get the full range of motion

  • @MatrixGuardians99 I wasn't using proper form at the time, but have corrected it since.

  • Thanks coach.Your my inspiration

  • hey josh i just got p90x today but it gives me 3 choices classic, doubles and lean?Which one did you go with as i want kinda your figure

  • @MrFutbolismo Classic all the way.

  • Hey Josh.

    I'm 19 & pretty skinny (BMI 18.5, 1.75m/5"10 & 57kg/125lbs)

My goal: 140lbs. Atm my body fat % is between 3 and 8%.

I'm don't really want to adjust my eating pattern. Maybe eat a snack less and a piece of meat more, but not a serious diet to which I HAVE TO stick.

Do you think P90 would help me gain weight/muscle without diet?

(I tried the abs workout of P90X, took me 40mins and 2 days of pain in that region, so I want to start with P90, later on maybe in combi with P90X)

    Thanks

  • @DVDomi Why don't you want to change your diet? That's going to hold you back from reaching your goals. It takes 100% commitment to both the diet and workouts to achieve great results.

  • @CoachJoshS I still live at home and it's hard to know what I eat during supper because it's not me who cooks it,, well I do know what I eat, but I never measure quantities. I also couldn't imagine me weighing my food before I eat it, I've always been a good eater and never gained any weight, so I never really paid attention to it. I wouldn't have a clue on how to create a diet-schedule.

Thanks for the reply :) I'll try to find a way, thanks.

  • @DVDomi You don't weigh your food. If you want results, you need to commit to a healthy diet, period.

  • @DVDomi You need a diet or no result. Eat 6 time a day ( every 3 hours ) Small meat. So your stomach is always full and supply your muscle. Not enough food = No gain. No pain = no gain. Sleep enough also. Take some milkshake Isomass Xtremene by Ultimate Nutrition is pretty good.

  • Wow jeez nice job. Ive been thinking about getting the p90x to get back in shape from an injury i had. But ive also lost alot of flexibility sooo idk if thats gonna go well with p90x.

  • @XxSkierGirlxX Yoga X will help with your flexibility.

  • Good work Coach i'm doing the P90x challenge myself right now and I hope to see your type of results.

  • @civicmaneg6 Commit 100% to both the diet and the workouts and you will be impressed with where you end up. Also, make sure you head over to my site iwanttogetripped*com and check out the "Q&A" section, which has a ton of tips to help you get started.

  • @CoachJoshS Everyday i'm at it and I can see the changes, but I was fit too begin with , but i'm just looking a lot better and people are seeing the differance in me as well so thanks coach and I will keep it going. P90x works people no joke.

  • @civicmaneg6 Great! Keep committing bro!

  • @CoachJoshS I sure will Coach.

  • @GATORSHARK25 Congrats bro!

  • i dont mean to hate on you dude, but your "fat professional" photo looks photoshopped like crazy!

  • @insanesanta278 That was back before I started P90X and I have to agree with you. I had to get those for my job, and when I got them back, it didn't even look like me. Needless to say, I was a little disappointed.
