@Helltsunami79 No. Only coastal people!! Papuan divided into 2 major groups: the coastal and the interior. The coastal share similar culture and language with the rest of pacific island.

@Helltsunami79 actually it's because Hawaiian and Pacific Islanders ancestors were travelers from Indonesia and islands around it (Philippines too) so there is similarity in their look, language, and culture, although Papuan are distinct (they are Melanesians). Do you know Madagascar ancestors are also from Indonesia? Although it all roots back to Taiwanese ancestors.

@Yarmisius they probably mixed. It's the thing that happened in the coastal area. Where we experienced mixing for generations. Historically, it started with the traders from Ternate, Tidore, along with Portuguese, followed by Chinese traders and currently with other people from different part of Indonesia.
