@sampster78 my friend made a really good replica using just wood and a scope. its just more time anf effort and skill involved but thats really your best bet. you can use styrofome to add detail and spraypaint. put a scope attached, a grip, guitar strap, and youve got a prop! look up indymogul for DIY prop tips

Some news stations use 100 thousand dollar cameras, and the footage looks nothing as good as Red One footage, its just because of the features the camera has that makes it worth more. 25 thousand dollars is nothing in the long run of film making.
