  • Don't know.

  • They were retired in 1997-1998.

  • See Wikipedia, it was due to problems with the New York City MTA's order of Grummans.

New Flyer's aren't referred to as Metro's because they are made by New Flyer and not Flxible. They don't even look alike.

  • Nice, but does 2 or 3 minutes is probably long enough to get the idea.

  • Yes I like them. Currently my favorite bus company.

  • Which routes are these buses?

  • Both on the L.

  • There is Gillig, Thomas, Nabi, Orion, Eldorado, and more I can't think of. If a bus manufacturer goes down I'm sure they can reopen, but they probably wouldn't. For example, Neoplan. They are alive in Europe but dead here and probably not coming back.

  • Because New Flyer is a big company, they win a lot of bids from transit agencies. Plus, there are not too many bus manufacturers in North America and that gives New flyer an opportunity. Since they make buses in many sizes, that is also an advantage for them.

  • this that trolley bus thing rite?

  • No this is a 41 foot long hybrid bus.

  • Which route with the DE41LF

  • Rt. L to Olney Terminal
