T3 was enjoyable but not even close to the same level as T1 and T2 of course. As for T4 oh um sorry TS(pss it's a new trilogy well according to McG) was a big disappointment because it had more to prove than T3. Thats why I like T3 alot more because it didn't try to be more than just a fun movie. TS tried to be a serious post apocalyptic movie and it failed.

T1 and T2 were fucking amazing, T3 was decent, it wasn't anything special but at least it was okay, it was an "in between" movie so. . Salvation was great it coulda used a lot more terminator and human battle scenes but remember they are turning this into a trilogy so the big battles still have to come, so they have to take one step at a time

Terminator Salvation was awesome but i do agree that the plot needed work,the dialouge was a little weak,Christian Bale did not bring his A game,But other then that the movie was really good and i can't wait for it to come out on DVD and Blu-ray.

instead, if the 3rd film is innevitable, it should be set in an alternate reality supllying our interest in how the war would unfold if it did happen.

a plus to this would be that the purpose and message of T2 with Arnie's sacrafice being remained.

The movie was okay.. Like you said it was pretty much only effects. The characters didn't develop AT ALL. The only one you felt bad for was the little girl and that's because she was cute and innocent. The only characters that slightly did develop were Kyle Reece and Marcus. John Conor barely developed as he started out as some bad ass who knew everything and was perfect. The acting and effects were great though. BUT! There were too many homages and one thing that killed me in the inside was..

It was a CGI Arnold but it looked like the real thing. Not enough character development. Too many homages (i.e "Come with me if you want to live" "I'll be back" ) It was okay..

T4 does not suck people. It's just not as good as T1 and T2. It is however way better than T3.

Here's my quick review.

The story of bland and felt at times redundant. Some parts were cool and some parts were illogical and dumb.

At times the drama was over the top. Way too much screaming back and forth (mostly by Bale). Other times the drama felt genuine and well done (mostly by Worthington and Yelchin).

The action was amazing though. You will be amazed with the camera work.

Bale just doesn't look like John Conner to me. Nick Stahl at least looked like Edward Furlong and i could connect them to the person in Terminator 2 future.

Christian Bale doesn't look like any of the actor and it is obvious that they just cast him for the star power. Not if he matches the part or how good he is, just because he is a big name.

I think either Nick Stahl, Glen Howerton or an unknown would have made a better John Conner.

But so far good review. LLGM!!!

Christian Bale as John Connor scares me. I don't think he is that good of an actor. To me, that rant shows how much of a premaddona he is. I mean Cameron never just flipped out on some poor lighting guy who no body knows and most likely is just making an honest work, went to his job from his one bedroom apartment and got yelled at buy Batman. If Bale had flipped out on someone of higher profile, then it wouldn't been as bad.

I am iffy on this film. I loved the first 2 films and i enjoyed the 3rd one. but something doesn't seem right about this one.

The original writters scared me but knowing that the guy who made the Shield rewrote it makes me feel a little better.

But McG as a director again, doesn't bother me that much.
