I LOVE Rachel Maddow to the enth degree. If I were there I would suggest to her that Libya would have gone nowhere without NATO's air bombardment which was extensive. Without the US NATO is nothing. Libya is NATO's war pure and simple. The rebels NEVER would have succeeded without NATO and beyond that we have bombed THOUSANDS of collateral damage which translates to women, children and old men bombed and killed!
