" No one from Gallaudet will never be on a pro team or have their own shoe commercial"?! How condescending. Look at Ashley Fiolek! Deaf motocross racer, number one woman racer in the world!! She has won many championships and has her own commercials. She is a world famous athlete. I am hearing, but think that Deaf people can do anything a hearing person can do except "hear". It's not a tragedy, its just different in the way the world is perceived without sound.
