I was 1 year out of high school. My friend said, "Let's go to Vegas and see Jerry." We got there, waited in line for 4 hours at Caesars then got in. I spotted him standing on the stage talking to someone as we entered the auditorium. My heart fluttered. The 45 minutes we were there was wonderful. We got in line again! I went back for several years in a row. An experience I'll never forget!
The Jerry Lewis Telethon, where else can you sing, tell jokes and smoke a cigarette on live television and it still be politically correct. lol
