Is there a realease date for this?

I do enjoy the rayman games having played 1, the two remakes (DS AND 3DS) of rayman two, and rayman three, and I loved all of them, so seeing this makes me excited since going back to rayman 1 style could be fun

@lang0800001066 Yeah I don't know what's going on with this game - Ubisoft's development team has GOT to get on their horse! I do know that the entire team consists of only 5 people, so that could have something to do with it. But so far, there is no specific date - only some time in 2011.

@lang0800001066 ....i don't know, i must say I really like the assassin's creed and splinter cell series. Plus, they're mobile company, Gameloft, makes some damn good games for the iPod. Don't worry the game shouldn't be cancelled, but even if it is, I have to say I'll still love Ubisoft.

@lang0800001066 LOL touche. I have to admit I never played raving rabbids but i've seen and heard enough reviews and trailers to know it sucked without even playing it, and that it's an insult to that original masterpiece. Rayman 2 was pretty darn good too

@RozzatheGreat that was one of the most uninformed comments i've ever seen on one of my videos. Rayman was BEST in Rayman 1 - on the playstation, PC, and Jaguar. The gameboy version was not a very good looking port, but don't dis an outstanding game based on a subpar port.

there were more frames of animation in the original rayman for the playstation compared to this crap. it's like rayman only has two facial expressions in this one and they just got lazy with it

@benjamillion yeah it kind of reminds me of the Paper Mario-stylings a little bit to me. But that may not be laziness - it could be deliberate and promote completely different graphical challenges for the Rayman Origins team. I guess we'll see for sure how it good/bad it looks when it actually comes out!

I don't get ''WiiWare'' Why would they let people but it on WiiWare for 10$ while PS3, Xbox, & PC gamers have to pay a price for an real game?

@superluigi132 Well actually it's also a download on the other systems and computer, including XBox Live Arcade, the internet, and PS3's internet. It's coming out in individual episodes on every system. I haven't checked the price of the other systems yet, but I'm assuming they're identical

@Dragzilla66 I see. Well I guess I'm more informed than them! Check out wikipedia's article on Rayman Origins. Or check out the IGN or Gamespot websites. Sometimes trailer uploaders get their information from each other without doing their own research

I think what happened is the PS3, Xbox, and PC versions are coming out by the holiday season, and for the rest of the versions it may not be until 2011. As I learn more, I will change the vid title to reflect this.
