  • they were the best

  • I've seen the Jersey Boys and Midtown Men knock-offs, and while they were fun and enjoyable, I couldn't help but think that no one can match Frankie Valli's voice on these great songs.

  • 3 people have no taste in music

  • that is my name my dad sings this to me all the time!!

  • STILL ONE OF OF MY FAVORITES FROM WHEN I WAS ABOUT ??? hmmmm ? .....O.K. A WHILE AGO ! FRANKIE YOU ROCK !

  • Dawn

  • i'm actually a metal head, but i went into the local music store bought an iron maiden cd, nofx cd, and a frankie valli cd, i cant imagine what the person who served me was thinking, i love old music, and i'm 18.

  • @kj1hti21 One out of three ain't bad.

  • The Greatest....

  • Dawn Wheeler,my family misses you so much, irregardless of how your dad treated you the wheeler family loves you very much and misses you so,everytime I hear this I think of my beautiful niece, who I haven't saw since you were in diapers.Elmwood has changed and not for the better, but it's still home,If you get this somehow or a friend knows you please respond,Uncle Joe

  • Really surprised at how good this was. Never knew his voice stayed that strong through the years. He's a very powerful presence on stage. I first heard Sherry when I was 5, growing up in East Orange NJ. Been a fan ever since.

  • THANKS FOR POSTING....

WOW WHAT A GROUP.....that sang...wrote...played and sang their own songs!! THANK YOU FOR POSTING

  • ahh takes me back to those days!! Great, Thanks for sharing~

  • go the bloke on the organ , how good am I .

  • All these boy bands (NKOTB, N Sync, Backstreet Boys) are just 4 SEASONS wannabes but none of them have a Frankie Valli.

  • Such a great video, thanks!

  • polci is my band teacher at my school now

  • @jonben105 your lucky then , . . .

  • Too much bass. It drowns out the delicate four-part harmony of the vocals.

  • @agapathos --- Sounds great on my system......maybe you could turn down your bass a little :) .... just sayin'

  • IM 14 AND I LOVE THESE GUYS

  • This is actually awesome sounding live too. The harmony of this old 60s music is something I miss in music of today. Also, the drums in here are kickin' @ 0:40!!

  • woooo!!

  • What a legend and great singer. If only this generation could here music like this. They need to pull up there pants and throw out there rap and listen to what music really sound like!!!!!!

  • YO FRANKIE...

Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons beat the hell out of

Jon Bowser Bowman and Sha Na freakin Na ...

  • great super love all the songs of

frankie valli super 10 ********** thanks

  • thank god my parents played this music while i was growing up in the 90s. it's shaped who i am today! amazingggg song.

  • uuhhhhmmm. right.

  • @heyjudette good for them and for you knowing that the four seasons were what the beetles were to us usa kids

  • Dawn(Go away) was the first song I heard. It blew me away then and still does 45 years later.

  • Whadya mean Brooklyn? Hez frum Joisey! Seriously, my mother went to the same High School in Maplewood, NJ that FV did.

  • Joey,I gotta ditto everything you said.I`m from Brooklyn & the Beach Boys & the 4 Seasons have to be the greatest.I wish I could get to see the 4 Seasoons this weekend.KEEP ROCKIN`......SAL

  • Just damn brilliant...I've been checking out the Seasons and Beach Boys stuff on the Tube tonight and I am just stuck by the quality of the writing and performing. Sometimes you go back to something and it just isn't as good as you remember it Man, this is as good as it gets and better than I remember. Having grown up in New Jersey, it gives me goosebumps. Just awesome.

  • Love the double meaning on "I want you to/too."

  • brilliant live` version. thanx 4 postin.

  • Class Act, Great Harmonys

  • Great video! Just saw the musical "Jersey Boys". I wasn't a big fan before but appreciated some of their songs. Now I'm hooked. :)

  • Saw The 4 Seasons just the once...

Id love to see them again :(

The keyboard players' enthusiasm is second to none lol. Great Video.

  • I just love his voice.you don't hear that anymore.

  • I won't tell you where I live but I've met many young ladies wih the name "Dawn" and when I hear them pronounce thier name they pronounce it "Don". I always ask them what happened to the "w" and why they don't pronounce it with the "w" and they just don't get it!

  • What happened to the beginning lyrics: Pretty as a midsummers morn, they call her Dawn Dawn, go away I'm no good for you Oh, Dawn, stay with him he'll be good to you Hang on, Hang on to him Think, what a big man he'll be Think, all the places you'll see Now think what the future would be with a poor boy like me Dawn go away, please go away Although I know I want you to stay
  • that was the original version in 1964 which was much better. there were two versions of this released. i liked the 1964 one better. the intro meant something. todays live version is longer & sounds very powerful. i saw f. valli @ coney island on 07/30/2009 along with c. francis. great shows. enjoy.

  • Dawn can't beat it lovely girl

  • He's a real soldier I'll tell you that.

  • great song, weak version. Not sure why FV is off: age, hangover, whatever, but he's a shell of what he was 15 years before that...

  • He got an ear/hearing problem, or so I hear.

  • No singer's voice remains the same over decades of performing. For my part, I've loved the man since 'Sherry', and have been grateful for his persistence in bringing his best to every show I've seen through the years.

  • Sure. Just saying: that song was so popular, too bad a better version wasn't posted....

  • i agree, i heard that frankie smoked 2 packs a day till about 1990. that doesnt help, i would go see him at 95 years old, even if he was gargling the words from a wheel chair, totally senile, i would love every minute of seeing him live

  • I'll be seeing him tomorrow night in Primm, NV. I expect to float out of the arena after.

  • no, 4 packs a day in the 1960's & 70's. in 1976 on the mike douglas show he said " i kicked the nicotine habit ". he probably went back to smoking. ****

  • @pezhead915

You can see him dead in the sopranos! He plays a mobster in two seasons of that show. He's actually a great actor by the way.

  • Frankie Valli is awesome

  • Dawn go away, or Rag Doll ooooh.

    Can't decide which is better.

  • I was named after this song in December 1973!!!!

  • there my favorite group im 14 lol i saw jersey boys then i went home and downloaded all there stuff my favorite song is "ronnie" its not that well known but its so good

  • yeah did you ever see the brodway one? and i likeit and im only 12!

  • ugh

  • I love this song for some reason

  • ROLE MODEL.....great talent, hard work,

    creativity, nice spirit.......ENDURING

    GREATNESS. Thanks Frankie

  • The song was also the ending theme for one episode of the Sopranos! Great tune. =D

  • Good sound quality- this is awesome!!

  • This guy looks hot and fit.

  • A super star for 5 decades. Tremendous

talent who continues to wow audiences.

One of my all time favorites since 1962

to the present. LONG LIVE FRANKIE

    VALLI...KEEP ON ROCKIN......

  • Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons are one of my favourite groups and im only 25. Good music is timeless.

  • @dgd187 good times=good music

  • @dgd187 Dude im 14 and love em loads

  • @ZillaVictorious You're light years ahead of most people your age, keep that up

  • @dgd187 you are smart. that's refreshing. stay away from video games.

  • Pretty Purdie on drums, Chuck Rainey on bass, Al Viola on guitar, Bob Gaudio on keyboards on the record.

  • it's good song. both my daughter and granddaughter, their middle name is Dawn.

  • haha, juss so you guys know, i forgot you guys dont know my joke! when II say ruined, for me and my friends, we do opposite days everyday, it means he is AHMAZING!!! I love this song!!

  • well, this is a live performance. and frankie valli's songs are pretty hard for a grown man to sing because of its high notes. so i would imagine him to have some difficulty, but he's still a very good singer.

  • I know, that is why i told everyone the truth. Me and my friends, we say ruined=amazing,dumb=smart,slow=fast...and some other crazy words

  • oh. lol. sorry

  • no prob! i should have wrote it the way u guys would have understood it anyway! =]

    Frankie Vallie is EXCELLENT! =p

  • YEAH!

stop spelling his name wrong ... its making me sick

first u insult him, then u spell his name wrong.=(

  • Awesome live performance.

  • Being an old fart, I saw the original group back in the sixties. The only extra people they had with them were a drummer and guitarist. They were one of the best groups I ever saw. Sounded better than the recordings.

  • Lucky! they're great!!

  • It seems as if were just yesterday, but it was 34 years ago this past summer...I was 19 years old & went to see my very first concert in Asbury Park, NJ. In concert that summer of July 1974 was Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons. I'll never forget the excitement I felt & then experienced as that peerless group literally ran on to the stage to perform that night. What a sound! What a voice (Valli). He still today looks and sounds great, but there is never a time quite like the first.

  • Was on a cruise ship with him, and drove him nuts by asking him to sing "Dawn" each time we saw him. Love that song and his rendition of it.

  • got to know this song through the west end musical The Jersey Boys! Brilliant!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • .....you're simply no good fer me,however, after talkin to ya several hundred times,I'm thinkin.....maybe??? Steve ENJOY!!

  • Great song.

  • I'm loving all these live videos! Gosh, just takes me right back to all the years I'd seen them in concert 30+ years ago.

  • very good, thanks.

  • Frankie opened show in Philly 7-11-08 with

this great hit and went on to thrill his fans

singing most of his hits plus cuts from his

latest CD. Great show; always a a joy to see

    him. One of the greats.

  • awesome! I catch this on Sirius quite often!

  • wow frankie u are great...

  • HELL YES THIS SONG I LOVE ITT

  • I'm gonna see them live in August! I can't wait!

  • The concert in Santa Rosa was fantastic! He's still got it!

  • Oh Frankie cud eat crackers in my bed anytime. He still looks hot after all these years.Thank you for posting.
