Il Giardinao Armonico are famous for exactly that. I don't think they handle Bach or Handel particularly well, but for Vivaldi they're entirely peerless.

  • @polymath7 they handle handel.... or handel they handle? ;)

  • i totally agree. a whole new different angle; fantastic

  • @1969bartje Actually i believe its the oldest angle of all. they adapted these pieces from the originals Vivaldi wrote

only with up to date instruments. Exquisite!

  • a kedvencem, imádom...

    annyira gyönyörű!!!

  • that guy on the theorbo rocks my socks

  • @azulyrojo89 Yeah! LOL

  • what a anxiety

  • Me gusta mas Pina Carmirelli e I Musici.

  • Questa interpretazione emerge prepotentemente dall'insieme: come in molti altri lavori del Giardino Armonico, si percepisce un intenso lavoro ed una intensa passione.

  • Brilliant.

  • Just the best

  • The giardino armonico recording of the four seasons is a historical milestone in the preformance of baroque music. After listenting to these guys it's difficult to enjoy anyone else perfomring it. Geniale.

  • @voltamore

and what!!!! only 2000 views? People are stupid, unknowing and ignorant... thank God that Democracy doesn't really exist.

  • @voltamore The first time I heard this recording was in the mid nineties... and as you say I have had a hard time enjoying any other performance of this piece.

  • @voltamore that's what we (italian) often have flowing in our veins.. that's the way to play italian music.. at least...
