  • the part where the narrator is comparing Hirohito to powers that all other leaders possess, makes him sound like a retard..first off, even in 1940s, Christianity was just a symbol.Other than that it was pure bullshit and everybody knew that. Secondly, americans knew japan had become a militant country controlled by military leaders

  • I don't think there was anything is this video that was exaggerated or really untrue. In fact it probably left a lot of stuff out. I know there's more to it but that WAS a rather accurate portrayal of the Japanese at the time.

  • this vid is a big LIE

japs never ate rice and fishes, they eat human flesh and still do today

why do you think they invaded china, aka the most populated country on earth ?

we should nuke them again, crazy japs

  • To clarify my previous statement, the US government was doing everything in their power to dehumanize the Japanese. Since they can justify doing anything to anyone else, we can justify doing anything to them

  • Remind me again, why did we drop the bomb? Yeah, I thought so.

  • HE LIVES ON RICE AND MUD!

  • exaggerating? japanese soldiers had official rape camps set up in china. they tortured POW's, cuts off their body parts and ate them, not out of hunger, just to be cruel. those things actually happened and are well documented.

  • "the history is written by the victors"

    Napoleon

  • @CcharlyY89

yeh, there is no good or bad in the war. Only winners and defeated.

winner would be always a hero, and defeated would be always scumbag.

  • The only reason to why some Indians, unlike other Asians, supported Japanese expansion was first Japan didn't occupy India and Japan was fighting its colonial master.

I agree, due to selection bias and lack of monitoring, that you will get atrocities from any side of the army in armed conflict. But the problem is whether its military officials condone such behaviour.

  • @mrryhenboss, read history books, what you claim as a fact is not necessarily true. The collapse of European colonial empire in SE Asia was mainly due to how weak these former European powers become after their fight with Germany. For instance, in Vietnam, French finally forgo Vietnam because of it can't dedicate what it needs for war after the German occupation.

And most local forces fought against the occupation of Japan! Indian were the only volunteerly and major supporter of Japanese.

  • was US neutral pre WWII?? joke! atrocities occured in every war, just like US soldiers wiped out civilian villages in vietnam just for fun, then do u like it if I say all US soldiers are savage? I believe exaggeration of enemy crimes is just a propaganda. The fact was without Japan's invasion down to SE Asia, most SE Asia still under colonialism until who knows when.SE asia invasion took only few weeks, why? cause eropean'd rather run than fight & locals took arms supporting japanese.

  • bombing pearl harbor was the worst mistake japan has made ever, even the prime minister

(someone like that) "We have awoken a sleeping giant." and he was right

  • "We and the Japanese will be at very close range for a very long time"? In 1945?

  • @eddystone333

yeah even if the war in europe ended by 1945, the war in the pacific was still much up for grabs... we had just gained ground across the pacific, the two most bloodiest battles of the war were fought in that year with iwo jima in feb of 1945 and okinawa in april of 1945 we had tremendous casualties in each battle... it was not known if trumann was going to make the decision to drop the a-bomb or even if the japs were to surrender to the bomb

  • @juliocruz26 True, but the U.S. had been carrying out regular and increasingly-severe bombing raids on Japan since mid-1944 and Operation Olympic was set to begin in late 1945. There was nothing to invade after Iwo Jima and Okinawa except Japan proper, so it still strikes me as a little odd that the narration sounds like something you'd hear at the beginning of a war, not towards the end of one. Maybe it's just my hindsight perspective or the fact that it's propaganda.

  • WWII would of been lost if the japs didn't bomb pearl harbour and did not invade southwards towards Australia

  • Obviously this newsreel was produced sometime between May and July of 1945 as FDR is dead and Churchill is still Prime Minister and the purpose was to prepare the American people for the forthcoming occupation of Japan by American troops as by late 1944/Spring of 1945, victory over Japan was screamingly obvious to everyone but the Japanese.

  • carnage and genocide lies in the foundation of usa as we know.

  • Did you read the caption that came with this video??.....quote :"attempting to provide a rationale for America's war with Japan"....LMAO...how about just two words...(((PEARL HARBOR))).......MEDIABURNARCHIVE..save your revisionism for the UN-informed..what a bunch of morons you are..lol

  • jap.jerk ass puppet

  • remember Its History NOT Hate

  • fuck you america

  • @DUNDOM5 and Fuck you AND the whore that bore you..lol

  • @SONOFHERO52 fuck you american and your american mother

  • History is written by the victors, and oftentimes their enemies are painted in darker colors.

  • @AverageJoeCinema my friend went to Japan and took historical tours where the tour guides indicated that the Japanese were the victors of the war (how ironic) lol It's easier to paint a darker color especially when the US was savagely attacked while remaining neutral.. in the end, Japan got their ass handed to them and indeed awoken a sleeping giant

  • @DJMikeFury US were neutral ? oO In which way ? Aiding Britain with troops ships and many other warmaterial gave them intel about german and japanese fleet status and troop concentration. They even took germans POW even if they were not enemys at that time. Last thing which we know was one of the importent reasons for the japanese to attack the US was the oil embargo. The only thing which the US didnt do was to fire a shot under their own flag first. U cant realy call this neutral.

  • @Revan817 Non-belligerent would be a better term, but for all intensive purposes (i.e. for the purposes of the average Joe, you and me) Non-belligerent and neutrality are basically the same thing

  • @VEVOsux123 Intents and purposes*

  • @DJMikeFury 1 yeah everyone know that united state clearly win ww2 i mean it is obvious 2 japan didnt attack usa for fun they did it because united state made a trade embargo on petrol 3 pearl harbor was a tragedy but it is nothing compere to Nagasaki and Hiroshima united state trow 2 nuclear bomb on japan and that is a crime again humanity

  • (Part4)The Unites States defeated Japan completely because Japan had done bad acts in China? I don’t think so because the Japanese bad rumors were created by China. The world should know what the Sinocentric view of the world is. The world should know what China has done in Tibet. More than 1,200,000 people, corresponding to roughly 20% of the total population, were massacred since being unfairly annexed to Communist China in 1955.

  • (Part3)They started anti-Japanese activities, for instance, Americans made TV programs which show the Japanese committed murders in China. The word “POOR CHINA” was advocated by Americans. In fact, newest science technology found 143 pictures were fabricated by China. Americans were cheated by the Chinese propaganda. This fact leads to executed many Japanese men after Tokyo Trial. Consequently, the American concept which is Japanese are savage influenced all of the trials in the Asia.

  • (Part2)But this photo appeared in the Asahi Graph, a weekly photo journal, published in Japan on Nov 10, 1937, about one month before Nanking battle. The explanation says, "A group of women and children from the Rising Sun Village returning from the fields, guarded by our soldiers." It is indeed a wicked act of secretly switching the picture.

At that time, Americans were fallen an easy prey to deception. In fact, telling lies of Chinese is very well known.

  • (Part1)The United States was cheated by China. During the Sino-Japanese war, Madam Chiang Kai-shek came to America and begged to help China to them. She showed many fabricated pictures which were created by the Chinese Nationalist government’s Ministry of Information.(propaganda section). For example, one of the photos has displayed in the Nanking Massacre Museum. The caption said, "The Japanese rounded up thousands of women. Most of them were gang raped or forced into military prostitution.

  • @undertakerRach And I guess the Japanese occupation of Korea and torture of many Koreans was fabricated too?

  • @trentcreek (Part1)Many Koreans have accused Japan of receiving much terrible treatment to Korean people by an old Japanese government during the war. Of course there are few war experienced people. Many Koreans who have claimed have not had any experience of the Pacific War. In other words they have only learned war history of modern Korea which started the year of 1900. However, their complaints about war issues are related to Japan were wrong.

  • @trentcreek (Part2)They claimed that Japan dominated Korean people during the war, and so on. However, these stories have no conclusive evidence. Are their criticisms true? If they want to get right information about the war history between Japan and Korea, they can get many facts from internet or books these days. Nevertheless, they have been maintaining and attacking Japan’s old acts in Korea since the World War II finished. This is very strange.

  • @trentcreek (Part3)In fact their stories are wrong for three reasons. I want to give you the three facts about history between Korea and Japan. First of all I would like to explain about the Japan-Korea Annexation. The Iljinhoe (一進会) was a nation-wide pro-Japan organization in Korea. The party thought that Korea could not develop capitalism on its own, and demanded a merger with the Japanese Empire.

  • (Part4)Meanwhile, Japan needed to defend itself from Western countries such as Soviet, so the newly modernized Meiji government of Japan turned to Korea because various Western countries actively competed for influence, trade, goods, and territory in East Asia in the late 19th and early 20th century. On 22 August 1910, Japan effectively annexed Korea with the Japan-Korea Annexation Treaty signed by Lee Wan-Yong, Prime Minister of Korea. However, Korean people said Japan occupied Korea forcedly.

  • @trentcreek (Part5)Secondly, Korea has claimed that they suffered by old Japanese government, but Japan established the infrastructure actually. In fact Korea was a very poor country in the early of the 19th century; so many foreigners said Korea was entirely unsanitary. The Japanese government created transportation infrastructure and official buildings such as schools, hospitals and post offices, and so on. Koreans extended their lives span in deed.

  • (Part6)However, Koreans have not learned the fact in schools under the political reasons. Finally, I want to show you the data of participation of military and some facts after the war finished. Japan and Korea started only a volunteer military system in 1938. Korean military participation ★1939 Applicants 12,348 Accepted 613 ★1940 Applicants 84,443 Accepted 3,060 ★1941 Applicants 144,743 Accepted 3,208 ★1942 Applicants 254,273 Accepted 4,077 ★1943 Applicants 303,294 Accepted 6,300

  • (Part7)洪思翊, Hong Sa Ik, he was Korean, who was Lieutenant General of Japanese Imperial Army. 朴春琴, Park Chun-geum was a member of House of Representatives in Tokyo. A seat in the House of Representatives was an elective post. He was elected twice from his district in Tokyo. Many Korean men joined the Japanese Imperial Army, and some Korean experts supported their countries because Korea was the same country as Japan, but they did not pay any postwar reparations to Asian countries.

  • (Part8)Not only this, Korea received Japan’s oversea assets which were in Korea and 8 hundred million dollars as war reparations from Japan in 1965. In conclusion, Koreans accusations are completely incorrect for these reasons. Therefore what they say is an absurd story.

I understand that Chinese people live in a dictatorship country, so they have no chance to learn right history. On the other hand, South Korea is democracy, but they don't know right history.

  • @undertakerRach Your story reminds me of the Cherokee people in the mid 1800s. The Cherokee people were historically broken up into Clans until they started Westernizing. Then they had political party lines. One party was the Western Movement party which support moving west. That political party alone made a treaty with the US to move westward, not the Cherokee as a whole. That would be the same as if the Democrats or Republicans alone made a treaty with a foreign government.

  • @undertakerRach In addition, Yutaka Kawasaki, wrote a legal paper on the issue titled, "Was the 1910 Annexation Treaty Between Korea and Japan Concluded Legally?"

His conclusion based on treaty between the two supports the Korean side in which the annexation was illegal and not void.

  • @trentcreek On 22 August 1910, Japan effectively annexed Korea with the Japan-Korea Annexation Treaty signed by Lee Wan-Yong, Prime Minister of Korea. The Iljinhoe (一進会) was a nation-wide pro-Japan organization in Korea. The party thought that Korea could not develop capitalism on its own, and demanded a merger with the Japanese Empire.

This was the Korean ddecision. Japan was defeated by the UNs in 1945, that's why Korea started accuse Japan for evacuration of postwar reparations.

  • @undertakerRach First, there was no UN in 1945 which could have defeated Japan, because it did not exist yet. Secondly, the Japanese in a treaty admit the annexation was not legal.

  • @trentcreek I don't think so. Do you know United Nations means?

  • @undertakerRach The United Nations was formed AFTER the War in San Francisco

  • @trentcreek Hahaha. I wrote "Japan was defeated by the UNs in 1945".

How do you understand this sentence below?

During December, 1941, US President Franklin Roosevelt devised the name "United Nations" for the Allies.

  • yayaya, just demonising people u don't like, exeggerating crimes of enemies. off course, u don't like the fact that asians can challenge your supermacy. so, justifying yourself that u are the good one.., I guess history change depending on the victor.

  • @mrryhenboss Oh fuck off you stinking Jap!

  • @KaiserWilhelmIV u r not an honourable man, clearly u are not capable of having discussion in a civil way!

  • @mrryhenboss And clearly you are nothing but a Jap who can't spell yet spews out silly internet arguments anyway.

  • @mrryhenboss Demonize?? lol...sounds like what OBAMA and the other TORIES (AKA DEMOCRATS) Do,,they can't win the argument so they demonize....but that doesn't apply here..the JAPS started the War..WE finished it..they got what they deserved

  • @mrryhenboss

this isn't about u.s. whites vs the asian race, retard.

  • @mrryhenboss One can hardly exaggerate the prewar Rape of Nanking or the post-war mass suicide / filicide, atrocities practically unmentioned in this video. While, from our American, post-internment camp perspective, it is easy to be repulsed by the rhetoric of the video, there is precious little here that isn't factual. There are no caricatures here, no absurd exaggerations; only a somewhat dramatic portrait of a country at the time it was most fanatical. Your spelling is horrendous, by the way

  • @mrryhenboss this was made DURING the war. we were demonizing our then enemy, not somebody we feared for social or political reasons. We were demonizing a country which savagely attacked a military base while we remained neutral, a country that we would eventually drop an atomic weapon on, the first and last country to suffer this fate. We were not justifying our past actions, we were trying to R\rally people against our current enemies in war.

  • Americans have a serious psychotic problem with Asian peoples, because we believed everything our ignorant, racist government told us about them--despite the fact that WE had no business antagonizing them in the first place. Get over it, America, and MOVE ON. Case closed.

  • Americans are simple minded pricks who believe anything the government says, anything the media says, anything the Zionist Jews say...

  • China, Korea, and these cannot say a civilized country house.

Even if it concludes a treaty, it’s a thief state which requires criticism and money forever.

This does not change in the future, either.

Neither China nor Korea is the countries in the state where people can live.

Neither politics nor a person can believe.

It is the world where everything is not believed.

It is the way having money only makes a living.

Therefore, if it becomes rich, everybody will emigrate to overseas.

  • @youngk9lover and LovefuckChinkcunt Are american'ts so inhumane, selfish,& boastful that they go after other races just because it's not their own that's not right & yet the U.S. is just says these countries do horrible things but yet the U.S. does those unjust thing also so american't is as horrible as other countries so don't give me anymore bullcrap about how the u.s needs to protect itself the u.s is just looking for an excuse to kill & diminish other races u.s= savages

  • Why is this comments section so racist?

  • japenis people are evil. No wonder why their dicks are so tiny. Thanks god tsunami hit japland. Lets pray another tsunami to hit them one more time.

  • @TheChineseGenius Yeah, we r very very evil to only CHINGCHONs, kill kill kill kill kill kill subhuman warms like u!!!

We r so nasty to kill u with big laugh!! haha cuze u all r less than insects!!

We gonna make another NANKIN more and more !

    Exterminate fuckin CHINGCHONs!!!

Cuze all the world wishes and hoping let us to do !

W have to answer for it!! This is our duty for the world!

Kill CHINKs nobody say nothing!!! Not Jewish ppl! But CHINK kill more that the world say!!!

  • In addition, Japs also claim that Japan made great contributions to Asia during WW2 by educating and modernizing Asian people and countries.

Suppose I trespass and occupy a Japanese house. I can justify myself by claiming that I made great contributions to the family and house, by protecting them from other burglars or gangsters, educating the family members and improving the house with modern gadgets, even though I rape and kill some of the family members. No Japs can deny my contributions.

  • @youngk9lover

War responsibility of Japan carried out the postwar compensatory treaty with all the related countries, and has completed it completely.

Japan does not receive criticism of China or South Korea who were not fighting against the West.

Southeast Asia and Japan which fought together make new Asia.

  • Comment removed

  • @youngk9lover

Not all Japanese, dunno I'm still wandering about and I just have a vague image that we did something bad (Very unclear).

You can give me information and stuff.

  • @lolokooza

Search "japanese war crimes", "japanese atrocities", "Massacres and Atrocities of WWII in the Pacific Region" and etc. on Google, which lists so many for you to choose to read. Discard those written by Chinese and Japs if you think they are biased.

  • @youngk9lover

    Imma read both.

  • Japanese today shamelessly argue that Japan liberated Asia and the Pacific from the Western colonization from 1910's to 1940's. This is how they try to justify all the invasions, crimes and atrocities done by Japan in the past.

If so, what happened after Japan had liberated Asia and the Pacific from the West in that period was the worst tragedy in history because Japan re-colonized the region and slaughtered 12 to 19 millions of innocent Asian civilians. What a liberation by cruel Japanese!!!!!

  • @youngk9lover

LOL, where do u get this info. US documentaries?

  • @samblaladu

At least, I don't get and trust info from the Jpas who are busy in denying, diminish, hiding, distorting, making excuses for and fabricating everything. LOL.

  • @youngk9lover Get the fuck over it. A lot of bad shit was done by the Allies as well, including carpet bombing German civilian targets and dropping two nuclear bombs. WW2 was pretty fucked up, no one is questioning that.

  • Comment removed

  • @youngk9lover The young Japanese have no idea what their grandparents & great grandparents have done. Unlike Germany, Japan never analyzed the things done in WW2. So you can say whatever you want, the ones responsible & knowledgable are mostly dead. But it's also the fault of the US as well. The trials in Nuremberg got tremendous attention & Hollywood to this day uses nazis or nazi-based themes, but you hardly ever hear about Japanese during WW2.

  • @GaolisVideoLog

For the western Allies, the war in Europe against Nazis was the primary focus and priority. The war in Asia against Japan was (and still is) always in the shadows of that in Europe. After Nazi Germany was defeated, the Allies meticulously examined and punished Nazi war crimes and criminals at the many war crimes trials throughout Germany. The Nuremberg Trials was just the biggest and symbolic one. Thus, Nazis and Naziism were completely wiped out in Germany.

  • @youngk9lover I wouldn't say completely. The occurences from the last quarter of 2011 speak differently. Also, long after the nazi trials stopped & the government tried to abandon those prosecutions, the German youth started to revolt against their parents & started becoming politically active to unravel nazi history. This saw to a tremendous change in German society and also to it that most Germans do not engage in national pride. In Eastern Germany this never happened thus way more nazis there

  • Comment removed

  • @GaolisVideoLog

    (Continued)

However, the Allies (especially the US) didn't look at and treat the Japanese war crimes and criminals the same way as they did to Nazi war crimes and criminals.

That's why the Allies hastily wrapped up the Tokyo War Crimes Trials (which is practically a copy of the definitions of the Nuremberg Trials) even by making many political decisions which made many key war crimes and criminals unpunished and the Japanese Imperialists and Imperialism uncleaned.

  • @GaolisVideoLog does young americans know what their grandparents have done? or what is their parents are doing?

  • @batulefou I assume 'no'. From what I understand the US Americans don't know a lot about what their troops actually have caused within the last 100 years. Especially during the more recent times of George W. Bush. But I think that every country has a way of showing history in a & leaving certain aspects out.

  • "attempting to provide a rationale for America's war with Japan" you are retarded. have you heard of the rape of nanking? or pearl harbor. retard.

  • @Tomacomo

    >have you heard of the rape of nanking?

Yes,the video which China and the United States made, that was proved to be a lie, and I watched many propaganda video like that.

    watch?v=ojhc3s1JziU

Victims are 10,000 or less people.

However, the Chinese government exaggerates 300,000 victims and is spreading the lie.

  • @Tomacomo

    >or pearl harbor?

    Yes.

The United States wanted to war for the purpose of the Asia rights and interests.

However, Roosevelt became the President on a promise that it does not war.

Therefore, Roosevelt showed Japan Hull Note to which a choice has only war.

Roosevelt knew the Pearl Harbor attack.

However, in order to gain popularity U.S. residents' war support, it was hidden and many Americans were killed.

  • @shiaiii

haha, don't get me wrong, i have been in japan and think it is one of the best countries on earth. japanese are clean and polite and civilized, and i do think they are superior, lol. but in world war II they were very cruel and treated other people like animals. i do not know why this happened, it is just the way history happened.

  • @Tomacomo

    >but in world war II they were very cruel

    Please think well.

Those days, all were colonized by the West except East Asia.

It is the most cruel world.

Japan was a peaceful country which is not once ruled from other country.

All the worlds covered with wrong and a crime when peaceful Japanese see the world.

    >i do not know why this happened.

Someone had to extinguish the colony world of wrong and a crime.

Although Japan did not want to be chosen, God chose Japan.

  • "We shall never completely understand the Japanese mind." What a way to start it off.

  • MediaBurnArchive thanks for posting this video. We need to be reminded of these types of crimes against humanity in order to never permit them and to insure that they may never be repeated.

    NOW MORE THAN EVER.

  • @MASTERNCS

What it does not come to repeat is the Western colony world.

If WW2 did not occur, the Western colony continued.

    Are you a Korean?

When Korea was not merged into Japan, it had become a colony in Russia.

Consider well what true wrong was.

  • @shiaiii Typical ideology from a blind brain washed child. Russia is not in the west you moron.

  • @MASTERNCS

It is a white colony if it complains about a Western colony.

The white supreme principle made racial discrimination, performed slave trade, invaded all the earths and colonized.

    The last was East Asia.

    China was Half colonization.

Only Japan in the world fought against the white.

    And history changed.

    Nobody can deny it.

  • @shiaiii Mhm and killing millions of other asians yeah.

  • @shiaiii

Only one country in Asia committed such unprecedented scales of atrocities, terrors and horrors on so many human lives including 12 to 19 millions of innocent civilians.

Japan murdered so many human lives in order to liberate Asia from the West? Which Asian countries asked Japan to liberate them from the West and kill their people? Which Western country committed such crimes and inhumane atrocities in Asia?

That dirty history will never changed, and nobody but Japs can deny it.

  • @youngk9lover

    unprecedented scales ?

There is only that one the language can be used in human-beings history.

It performed the massacre of the native of North America, South America, Australia, and Hawaii, and extinguished the race mostly.

It is the most greatest crime of human history by white nation committed.

There are no other crimes uglier than this.

  • @youngk9lover

The white's colonial rule reached the whole world and continued in 500y.

In the meantime, all people who offer resistance were killed.

The white did not give local people education but squeezed the labor force.

Tobacco, tea, and opium were grown.

Cultivation of the rice which is the main food of a colony people was stopped.

As a result, starvation occurred and it killed hundreds of millions of local people.

This is the worst crime on a history of man.

  • @youngk9lover

Japan was judged by the victorious nation as a crime which invaded Asia.

    It is Tokyo Trial.

When are you a white judged?

All human beings other than a white are waiting.

  • @youngk9lover

Do you think it right to say that "Desegregation" and "abolition of race discriminating "?

1915 after the end of WW1.

Japan proposed it at the Paris lecture meeting, but West opposed powerfully.

    Why did West opposed?

    Which is right?

Accepting it those days will deny a colony.

Therefore, the West never accepted it.

A WW2 battle of Japan and the West , that was the battles of justice and wrong.

  • @shiaiii

What the hell. You need to organize or study more of English since your comment in English is incomprehensible. I don't know what you are saying. Bye.

  • @youngk9lover

oh, to be sure, I am not good at English.

    sorry!!

However, you escaped for reasons of it.

  • @youngk9lover U wrong!! Swiss treaty said no problems to kill no uniform armed soldier which all r guerrillas!! So no problem to kill them!!! Innocent ppl??? Go to china u can not find any!!! We liberate ASIAN from all White nations!!! We did it!!! What da ya talkin!! If we did not attack Whites power stil in 21 century they r Slave nation still and Colony!! This is for sure!!! Say thank you very much to us!!!
  • @LovefuckChinkcunt

Those who died in Hiroshima and Nagasaki were also guerrillas. Nothing was wrong with the atomic bombs dropped in the 2 Jap cities. As a matter of fact, every single Japanese in Japan during WW2 was a soldier in civilian clothes. So, killing Japs was no problem. Well done by the US.

  • @youngk9lover

Yeah , we never complain likew u did and do non stop all the time for money and more money!

Between US and Japan had treaty after the war that nothing complain what happened in war!!!

Also we had some contract Chinkys and Koreans!

But Those fuked up stupid idiots still kept and keep complain all the time!

Think the world yreayu we already finished fucker!

If u want more moeney by this case!

Give us back ODA monkey then talk next division then!

    U gotta that!! beggar!

  • @youngk9lover Cambodia??

  • USA loves war

  • @TheBlayzinAsian420

Japan and Japanese love to murder people in mass: Nanking Massacre/Rape, Manila massacre, Sook Ching massacre, Alexandra Hospital massacre, Banka Island massacre, Changjiao massacre, Kalagong massacre, Laha massacr, Palawan Massacre, Pantingan River Massacre, Parit Sulong Massacre, Tol Plantation massacre, Wake Island massacre, Panjiayu massacre.

  • I am an American: citizen, WW2 veteran and patriot. I am also a living proof that there are atheists in foxholes. I remember seeing this film and I have cited it as one of many example; of how effective a tool religion is for ruling the masses, in other countries and our OWN.

  • "American people view God in such high standards that they refer to him as "God Almighty." None is higher than God, as his name is on every piece of important American history, right down to their currency. To deceive God in any way means eternal damnation in a sea of fire. American's believe that God created them, as well as all other creatures on Earth. They believe God will return someday to take his loyal soldiers to heaven and send his detractors to hell."

    Cuts both ways, doesn't it?

  • (Part6)I want to say Chinese people should look at history as a mirror. It means that China should not forget her brutal actions against Tibet and Uighur.

  • (Part5)In all cases, except for its support of North Vietnam war against South Vietnam, China has used force preemptively. China attacked the opponent first after careful preparation, whereas the opponent suffered from a surprise attack. So, why has China been teaching such old Japan’s crime, which is not true, to their children? Chinese war crimes have still continued.

  • (Part4)A recent survey of world public opinion from 2005 to 2007 found that Japan is the country most widely viewed as having a positive influence, which is helped by the fact that Japan has never used military power as a means for settling international conflicts after 1945. Since the People's Republic of China was established in 1949, the frequency of its use of military forces reaches the double digits. On average, China has used military power for several years.

  • (Part3)However, since this period Japan and China have changed considerably. Today, China is controlled by the Chinese Communist Party and Japan democracy. While history should not be forgotten, we must also judge a country by its current actions.

  • (Part2)Chinese government has hidden their brutal war history to their citizens. If Chinese people had known what China had done in Tibet, they could not accuse Japan with a one track mind. In fact, Chinese leaders always say to Japanese leaders that Japan should look at history as a mirror. It means that Japan should not forget her brutal actions against China during the Sino-Japanese conflict in the late 1930s and the beginning of the 1940s.

  • (Part1)Some Chinese people have claimed that Japan always wants to fight with another country. Also they are accusing the Japanese dogs needed to be as brutal and cruel as possible to win the war. Some Chinese are taught exaggerated Japan’s war crimes, for instance, the Nanking Massacre must have been created by China for their propaganda, and also there is no conclusive evidence about that. Why does China continually teach wrong history to school kids?

  • I'm just amazed how powerful and effective those war time propagandas were. There are still considerable number of people, who are under the influence of this brain washing that ended 60 years ago! I'll let others decide how truthful the messages were, but as a method of conveying messages, there is a lot we can learn from them. There are also lots to learn, how NOT to be brainwashed too.

  • How the hell did they come across this footage :S

  • Look to the history of institutional racism in the 20th century and you will find that Japanese were denied immigration to the US, Canada and Australia in the early 1920s after being denied equal recognition at the League of Nations in 1919. It should not have invaded China, but its logic was just like Atlantic nations, it had defeated Russia and China and could be a colonial power. This did not suit the Anglo-American view of lesser Asiatics (even the German allies thought so too).

  • DO NOT judge Japan by recent history. Japan, korea, China has long "unfiriendly history since perhaps 1000 yrs ago. All sides had done the same. whether you like it or not ,Japan helped asia to liberate from colonialism. of course you whites don't like that. As usual, you justify your act by demonising them. At least, japan bombed military base pearl hourbour, us dropped atomic bomb killing civilian, excuse to save the world, pathetic!!

  • @mrryhenboss And they dropped bombs on Berlin, Dresden, and Tokyo which were more devastating to civilians but you don't mention that because it was not as dramatic as an atomic bomb. You are drama queen!

  • What's really funny is that before ww2 western nations joked that the Japanese wouldn't be able to carry guns on there backs they proved them dead wrong

  • Ominous music doesn't work with footage of communal bathing.

  • 3:04

    It's a Korean flag

  • Japanese are cool people

They had some bad times but is america much better

    Nuking two towns?

  • @udoslask

Blame the US for the 2 A-bombs? Blame the Japs first because they are the one who started the war by a sneak attack on Pearl Harbor and then invaded all Asia and the Pacific. Receiving the A-bombs is what they asked for. The real victims are all the Asian countries and people that the Japs had conquered and killed.

Now, descendents of the imperial Japs act as if they are the victims of the war?

  • @youngk9lover Actually, the Japs began their share of WW2 in Sept. 1931 when they launched their unprovoked invasion of China. That was 10 yrs before they attacked Pearl Harbor. During that 10 yrs. "head start" they murdered millions of Chinese. The Japs are racist. They believe they are superior and should be the masters of all the non-Japanese. The Chinese have long memories so today they buy more Buicks and more other non-Japanese cars than Toyotas and Hondas.

  • @pt45g46

    Quite true.

Japan always wants to get out of their islands and advance to to the north (Korea, Manchu, China, Mongol and Russia) and to the south (South Asia and Pacific), which was clearly proven by Japan's invasion into Korea during 1592-1598, Japan's merger of Korea in 1910, and Japan's all-out invasion into Asia and the Pacific during 1930's and 1940's.

Japan hasn't been change at all, compared with the Japan of the past. Japan and Japanese will do the same invasions again.

  • @udoslask No nation or country is above the horrors of war. America would have only had to use one nuke (I know, much better right? haha) if the Japanese had surrendered with the first. A land invasion of the japanese mainland would have cost well over one million lives, so the nuclear weapons were a better choice (although arguably not the most moral)

  • MARIONETTE_THEATRE.

  • @shiaiii

All the wrong began from the greed of the Japs who wanted to conquer Asia. The US was the biggest obstacle in the way of Japs and that's why Japs attacked Pearl Harbor.

After the war, descendents of the Japs started to argue that they had conquered all Asia and killed tens of millions of civilians in order to resist the West. What a horrible excuse and justification!!!

  • @shiaiii

Only one evil country in Asia killed and raped so many civilians and even experimented human beings for their biological warfare. Colonial days were doomed to be over with or without WW2. It was just a matter of time.

China and Korea didn't killed and raped so many civilians but Japs did. Only Japs would do such inhumane atrocities. Blatant Japs with no shame are now receiving punishments of Heaven in the form of earthquake, Tsunami and radioactive disaster. Japan is sinking. Hooray.

  • @youngk9lover just wait my friend and you will see what corea and china can do, just wait

  • @HeRoSeNsEi What the heck is corea?

  • @youngk9lover Thats one page out of a 100000 page book you know.. every nation has their hidden dark past... Heck, The Us was a part of what you are talking about.. And i do know it.. Unit 731 i do assume.

  • Japanese are not even humanbeings, it's too bad those savages still exist

  • @Howhowhowdy we ARE human beings. that's extremely racist of you. please shut up.

  • those japs needed to be tought a lesson DEAL WITH IT

  • @thefishface100 so does the americans (referring to 9/11)
