  • The Wailers used to tour up and down Oregon and Washington. I used to go to their shows when they played in Eugene, Oregon.

They were the most versatile band out there in those days. I once read that when the Beatles played in Seattle in 1964, they made a point of paying homage to The Wailers by visiting their recording studio.

  • What?! She even took his guitar? Almost as bad as if someone spat on my blue suede shoes. If, I cut him all to pieces, in the gutter.

  • Heard this one sometime in the 1980's. At that time I never connected it was same band that recorded the "Tall Cool One" and their version of "Louie Louie", among others. Never mind as it stands on its own two legs.

  • go man go........

  • RIP Kent Morrill.

  • Saw 'em live at Veterans Hall, Olympia, WA. Note: they start the show with a BANG, no fooling around! Always sold out.

  • It reminds me Elvis Presley, don't know why

  • Wow!! Who in the hell are these guys? I love them?

  • This fucking song rocks...

  • I still have the 45 of this.

  • Where is J.A.J. every band in seattle played J.A.J.what the heck, What about Mr.Clean and the cleansers.saw him eating a Burger at Dag,s ,on capitol hill in seattle

  • @dclavesilla - I saw The Sonics, a Seattle band, preforming some years ago. Talked with Gerry and Rob after the show.

  • This version IS INDEED the original. It's the 45. The one on the 1960 album that is slightly faster is version 2.

  • Met my first wife at the Spanish Castle, but I really miss Heiser's Shadow Lake! Great to hear the Wailers again!!

  • I love garage rock!

  • and so do i

  • Not the original, which is still the best offering. The track is not as strong as the original, and the lead vocal sounds like Ron Gardner, who joined the Wailers some years later.

  • Sonics Version SO much better

  • it might be better, but this version still rock.

  • I saw these guys many times LIVE, but then

I'm really dating myself! Note: when they

started a show he started BOOM!, no screwing

around. They were great at the Castle!

  • Wow!!

  • awesome!
