Actually yes... The real ending aka alternate ending of T2 has Sarah Connor as an old lady, with John Connor's son playing in that park. Apparently Judgement Day was avoided and John Connor becomes a politician. Lame. I like the released ending more, even if it was just so they could suck a few extra dollars out of the public. I guess the series ends wherever James Cameron wants it to end. The deleted scene could have been just one of his artistic options.

The TX isn't all that bad ya know.. A little reprogramming could turn her into a loving and affectionate girl. No. Sarah's monologue was provided as an open ended finish to the series, but left room purposely for a sequel in case. Personally, T3 was good when I used my ediotr to strip out a few one liners and the cheesey humor. When you look only at the serious, dark parts of T3, it actually is pretty great in it's own way. :P
