Jay is definately singing, you are right. But I was actually refering to some of the musicians out there, particularly Gavin Dodds! It looks like they are 'miming' at playing their instruments.
I think they are deliberatley thaking the piss, or having a little fun, at having to perform for what is essantially a playback performance.
@mattypark Well, i think it's the best band EVER and they are still producing awsome songs. Jamiroquai is always better than that other shitty music that is made today.
They must have shot this when they performed in the French show Taratata in 1994. Gavin Dodds is saw awful in faking the guitar, lol:D Thanks for this gem Matty again!

Hi.I was a big fan in the early days(93-95) and taped a few of their TV appearances.I didn't realise the band was still so popular around the world.
