It can always be seen on two levels, the level where you see the jokes, and where you see the message underneath. Family Guy, on the other hand, it quite a different genre, it does not parody current events, it is in its own universe, seperate from current events.

Sooo disappointed. This is not a parody, it's a blatant rip off. A parody is what the Simpsons did with The Music Man/The Monorail Song. They made a totally new song which clearly came from something famous, but made it their own.

What exactly in this is Seth making it his own? The only significant difference is the actual testimonies which were no funnier than the original. Family Guy has had lots of brilliant, original writing. Too bad you can't see that here.
