  • I thank you guys a lot ! Specially those who wrote an answer to my first post. I´m starting the 3rd week now, and I´ve lost several pounds. I also feel stronger specially on abbs, chest, back and legs. I can´t wait to compare my pictures on day 90 ! I´ll upload a video with my transformation Pics also. By the way... sometimes I take a few minutes before taking my shower after the workout... is that bad ? Should I take it right away ? Thanks again ! And BRING IT PEOPLE !!!

  • Hey look guys I am about to start P90X and being in the Marine Corps I work 12 hours straight starting at 0430 and I wont have time to cook every meal or maybe even stick to the serving guide closley will that drasticlly hinder my results or as long as I don't eat junk and focus on healthy foods will I be fine

  • just make sure u have a healthy balance of lean protein, carbohydrates and fats, and make sure most of ur carbs come from fruits and veggies..moderation and consistency are KEY element when discussing a healthy diet..and if u can avoid white starches like white rice and white bread and simple sugars (cookies, cake, pie, etc)

  • Hi folks, I´m surfing the net, specially YouTube, looking for some cheering ! Because I finished like an hour ago, my 1st day with P90X.. In less words, I was not able to do the same number of repetitions that those guys in videos did... for example... on push ups... if they do 30, I did like 17, Pulls, they 20, I like 10, Stuff like that, and, honestly, I don´t feel bad at all, I´m just wondering if that´s a good start for the 1st day ? Or I´m really screwed ! Rather the truth. Thanks

  • look you will be fine, we all have to start somewhere, the object is not a set amount you need to do, but rather pushing every last rep that you can possibly do out of your body, its just a muscle confusion and energy drain...you will be fine good luck!

  • dude ur fine...u shouldnt compare urself to the people on their because theyre on the dvd because theyre at a certain level of fitness...u think tony STARTED OUT that fit...NO WAY...just remember, everyone has a different level of fitness when they start, and i know youve definitely heard before, "its not where u start, its where u finish"..btw when i started i did pushups from my KNEES and did the bands for back workouts, now i average 28 pushups a set on my toes and 12 pullups from each grip

  • @moneymilara - FYI - The people on the DVDs are animals or space aliens, not sure which. If you cant keep up don't worry nobody else is at first either. Not too many people have experience a workout like this imo.

  • @lllllAntonimosIIIII - Its not about how much you can do. It's about pushing play everyday, eating right and staying dedicated. I start week 5 today. To date im down 22 lbs in the first 28 days. I started out at 282 and doing pushups from my knees and dying after the first 25 min of plyo, but now im getting better and doing one legged wall squats. Because of my starting weight Ive had some trouble. I don't give up and make sure im in my zone and sweatin my ass off. Burnin Goo! GL all!

  • OK im not gunna lie, i can barely tell the diferrence. but if u keep this up and do alot of cardio yu'll melt fast as hell. lol trust me

  • are you kidding, he looked fat and sloppy before, he actually looks alright now. You can easily tell that he both lost fat AND gained muscle. we're talking 25-30lbs fat loss and around 5lbs muscle gain. That's not bad. That's good. I'm looking forward to seeing progress results after another 3 months. I'll say I went the opposite route and bodybuild instead of a gimmicky program, but this gimmicky program provides the structure a lot of people need and it's effective for what it's designed to do

  • Hey man, great job!!, I started P90X last night, Just the workout program though. I dont have the nutritional info, My roommate gave me all the movies. How important is it to follow their nutritional plan, or can I just diet on my own, and work out to the program and see results too. I need it for fat loss!!! 6'6 - 285lbs. Thanks man!!!!!!!!!

  • You may be better of looking up what the diet is like, if you can find out you might be able to find a similar system that you could use for free online.

    I'd highly recommend looking into the zone diet, it's fairly simple .. and you cane find a lot of information online. Good luck.

  • you can do your own diet, when i first started i was 227 after 90 days i was down to 192 , i didnt follow any nutirion plan and i didnt really follow those cardio either , i mean i tried my best but couldnt do plyometric because i live in 2nd floor so cant jump , had to modify the excercise and still get results , if u just do it u will get result , im 5'8" by the way was 47" waste now 39" i was gonna when i reach my goal but i willad p90x excercise as my lifestyle now cuz it give me strengh!

  • How did you modify the plyometrics? I also can't live on the second floor and am about to start P90X.

  • u know the part u go down doing squad and jump up? instead u can use ur toes and push ur body up , similiar to dead lift squad , it doesnt sound like its working but trust me it does , u will feel sore n' ur heart rate will go up , it wont be as effective as the real jump but it still work , just do a lil more rep and u can also add small dumbell , hold it in your hands while u do these excercise, i started with 7lb now i use 25lb , good luck

  • your stomack measurement seem realistic, when you hear people go from 43 inch waist and they then say they have 31, i dont think so a true 31 inch waist is tiny

    i ask becuz bands are a really great way to workout... but i heard you get the same results with dumbells becuz p90x is so versitile...

    im starting soon... hope to see results like yours.. im 17 and 175.. in great shape but want to have virtually no body fat and tone everything up... thanks for the inspiration
