  • So Lillias is the woman at :35 ? She looks so different now, I know that was a while ago, but I thought I'd be able to tell which one was her, but I couldn't, til just now, and I've watched this clip many times too!!

  • my god, lilias can move.

  • Lillias has amazing stage presence. And her voice is an earthquake. Wish she got better parts

  • I love how Lillias looks this great at the then age of 46. She is turning 60 in July.

  • @sweetfuckingchrist And can sing circles round damn near everybody!

  • We're singing this song now with our group it's so epic XD

  • Saw it on Bway also. Thanks for posting this. Made my day@

  • I saw this on Broadway (over 10 years ago, feeling old!) , and met some of the women right before the show by chance. They were so nice and obviously proud of the show. My whole party of veteran Broadway watchers were blown away! I ran out and bought the cast CD. I hope someday this musical gets more recognition. Thanks for the upload!

  • The fact that this was really controversial, and won a lot of Tony's reminds me of Spring Awakening.... What will happen to something like that in ten or so years??

  • I love this song. I remember when they were on Rosie O'Donnells talk show. Why was it considered "controversial"?

  • people dancing on stage, talking about prostitution. people considered it controverisal, i guess...

  • @broadwaygirl94 Revival.

  • Nice E, Lilias! (3:43)

  • They were definitely screwed out of a tony!!!

  • @krazykittymatt Of Course they were. The Tony's are crap, they only pick the popular vote or the shows that are good and need help with sales

  • @Broadway1408 I know, I remember last years Tony Awards and laughing everytime a known celebrity won a Tony. Especially Scarlett Johansson.

  • @krazykittymatt To be fair, the 2009-2010 season was a VERY lackluster season.

  • I love this! It's awesome! Do you know if it was based on sweet charity at all? Reminds me of it!

  • It is not based on Sweet Charity. It is written by Cy Coleman the same writer of Sweet Charity. He wanted to write The Life but thought America couldn't deal with it at the time, so he wrote Sweet Charity instead.

  • @wobblyjo lol this actually reminds me of show girls actually :P

  • It was a great show I saw it 11 times. It was screwed out of a Tony for best musical by the rancid " Titanic"

  • It looks really interesting. ^^
