@horrorundead 1. cc for cc they make much more hp.......the 250f makes around 35hp, but a 250 makes around 46hp!!! 2. The maintenance is so much easier than a 4stroke's maintenance and they are cheaper!!! 3. The fun factor of them is awesome!!! THEY KEEP IT REAL MOTOCROSS! You need to be in the right gear with them, you actually need to work on them!!! Plus the sound and premix smell........you just can't compare them to anything else I mean they are so light and when the powerband kicks in....!

well i agree with the quad thing just im not as violent lol. Well knight has won ERZBERG ive never heard of ernesburg, And who taught u bout 2 strokes and 4 strokes??? A 4 stroke is smoother and builds power better torques always there regardless of the bike its in what amount that differs. And if ur on a cr500 or kx 500 ur either retarded or ur like me and weigh more than 220. i ride a ktm 520 4 strokes are my loyalty. i would never dream of riding a damn 500cc 2 stroke in this shit....

I suspect DK is larger and heavier than you are and won LSM on a 250xc & Erzberg on a 300exc several times

Torque on a 300exc = 49 ft/lbs with 57hp @ 102kg (224.4) with lights

09 EFi 450's do 48hp & 40 to 44 ft/lbs torque

You may find a dyno for torque and HP on a 09 530 to be similar to a 300exc but a lot heavier bike 114kg (250.8)

300 have good traction due to slight power band (Traction is good - requires some throttle discipline same as on 530 with lots of HP)

this race was my 3rd LV enduro-X, AWSOME!!! being of finnish/polish/ger heritage i was lovin it! even got to shake hands and snap pic with Ahola!His english was much better than my fin!well worth the trip from minnesota! LV E-X is the REAL DEAL! next year ISDE? maybe, euro-riffic!
