you would be nervous too, to play - sing - with the young gods! An amazing underestimated band from little old switzerland! Franz aposed to Mike is very humble. Both are great musicians. but one of em is kind. ;-)
@daviddelafe probably not. ;-) And I didnt really think so.
(My Answer refered to the comment of "kingakron". But I still find it amazing and quite funny how we always think we know so well what other people feel like - when sometimes we dont even know how or what we feel ourselfes.)
@trinityblackmoon I have to agree with you on that... You speak words of wisdom.. We don't know what other people feel or think.. Especially when we don't know ourselves.. well said.., Thank you for that
It´s nice to see this video. I use to listen my cds of Faith no more and Young gods too. Now i´m going to buy the new cd of Young Gods. It is been a long time since i heard about Mr.Patton and his voice is of great value in this melody.
September is my favorite month of the year- as the year finally draws to its last sigh- what better than to have this song gently playing in the backround- hauntingly beautiful as the riders of death gallop to one's demise
omfg are you kidding me mike patton disses wolfmother and then he sings with this crappy ass shit. that fuckin sucked. mike patton you wouldnt know good music if it bit you on the ass you douche bag
This is fuckin awesome. Its so cool seeing the making of Angel Dust where Patton is talking about how much he loves the Young Gods, then years later theyre on his label and he is performing with them. Incredible!
I agree, in terms of volume and dynamics, Mike does overpower Franz -- perhaps Mike misunderstood the song (the whole point of which is understatement). I prefer Franz's vocal here because it seems very personal -- a rare show of vulnerability from an otherwise strong guy. Also, Franz takes time and emphasizes each word. Mike instead seems to be auditioning for American Idol. He's got an impressive voice, but the drama eclipses the meaning.
Patton have play two songs with Young Gods. Fantomas was the opener for this great concert. It was the 20Years-Anniversary concert from The Young Gods. They work actually on a live DVD. (http://www.younggods.com)

Kurt Weil, you little wise boy..This is "September Song" from the album "The Young Gods play Kurt Weil" - my favourite one... What have I won?

That question wasn't really for you...it was more for the guy that was just giving unwarranted insults to a good song.
