If you don't list the plural for of what you're selling in your ad then people searching for that product in singular form won't find it and vice versa. And, why can't you sell bred pets on there? I breed corn snakes and then sell them every year. There is essentially no profit. It's for fun. But not allowed on craigslist.

People are confusing generous capitalists with socialists. Socialists dont make any profit and they often run deficeits, craigslist turns a profit but it is small compaired to what they could get...so in essence they are donating potential profits back to the capitalist system...a very generous thing to do by supplying free to low price infrastructure to businesses and enterpreneurs. They are thus supporting capitalism by donating capital.

They do make a profit just not a huge one...even though they could demand a larger profit they choose to donate back into the capitalist system from which they gained their wealth via low costs to those capitalist entraprenuers and business. They are thus capitalist, philantrapists and investors in capitalism. They are also running a natural monopoly as opposed to a socialist government sponsered one like the post office or Standard Oil!

But you should know that the main fascist regimes that came to power either advocated a kind of corporatist mixed economy (Italian Fascism), socialisim (Nazism), or national-syndicalism (Falangism); all of which oppose "die hard capitalism" (Maybe laissez-faire capitalism would be a better term?) and advocate economic planning and government intervention in the economy. Capitalism is the profit on money or stocks. That is the growth of income by having an income.
Owning a private business is not capitalism, that is private enterprise.

In the example I provided, one could easily assume that a surplus would remain after I allot a portion of the profit for personal consumption. If I happen to be the sole shareholder, I would be in a position to dictate its use. What do you prescribe alternatively, state-capitalism?
