  • @Cameron,

Ad hominem attacks are usually code for, 'I have really nothing of value to say about the actual post, so I'll just make personal attacks against the poster'.

Hey, it's their Subie. They can do what they want with it. But it's silly to think that there aren't better platforms out there to drift with. I have an '05 STi. AWD was 1 of the selling pts. If I wanted RWD, I couda gotten S14-240SX, S2000, 370Z, Supra, RX-7, etc. Plz respond with more of your worthless ad hominem attacks

  • Dont get overheat this is not a Mitsubishi xD

  • That subie needs a LSD.

  • id rather get a better 4wd set up to my own scooby instead of a rwd conversion. still nice

  • its good to be different. why is there always some cunt who feels the need to slag everything/everybody off in every fuckin vid on you tube..If people were not different we would all be like twat who says slow drifting...gay!! fuckin prick..

  • ouch! pooor suby! i remember my friend smashed his pistons to shit after his little civic soldierd on after a blown gasket lol

  • slow drifting !!!!!!!!!!! gay

  • This subaru has way too much body roll for a drift car.

  • @skizzler86 u dont need a hard suspension for drifting

  • @coolgames14 Yes you dont really need it but it would do a whole lot better drifting of the suspension was adjusted to be more stiffer. I bet this car only has lowering springs.

  • @skizzler86 maybe the new 4dr sti could drift better, subaru improve their handling with new suspension upgrade ^^

  • @coolgames14 yes, the new 2011 models does have the best suspension on a stock sti. It did beat is previous best car which was the 2004 model.

  • @skizzler86 it seem kinda bouncy but they did beat the old sti

  • @briinums There is no excuse for converting a Subie to RWD. Check out Ken Block.

  • sorry to say but this is weak drifting hes makin dat suby look bad

  • put a sr20det in it :) would last loads longer LOL

  • @TagstaNation like the way you think.. nissan all the way

  • dident i just overheat -.-?

  • Its easy to convert to RWD from all wheel, and the weight isnt even that big of a deal if you gut out the car, sometimes weight helps with drifting. the AE is super light and doesnt need that much power to drift in d1 (about 200hp) mustangs and vipers are pretty heavy so they require lots of power to drift, but do just as well as a AE would.

  • yeee bikernieki <3

  • Sounds nothing like a scooby

  • Solide drift ! vraiment décu que le moteur aille laché mais i faut s'y attendre !! belle bagnole en passant ! meme si jaurais jamais mis une subaru 2wd

  • Maybe he likes the subaru and wanted to have THAT one for a drift, drifting aint about the numbers of your car, (hp, NM etc) its how YOU feel with your car, if he have the best feeling with this, a evo, a skyline, what ever ... then he should use THAT car, even if it means a rebuild to RWD if its a AWD car... if he have the option to. :P

  • What's the point of doing that to a Subaru, when there are plenty of purpose built RWD vehicles that would to this just as well, or better? This is like declawing a cat. Fail.

  • and still there are professional drift teams converting evos and subarus to rwd, like TEAM ORANGE.. just to bring in some variety..

  • Never said it wasn't feasible or doable, just said it was pointless. There are plenty of other RWD cars/platforms they could have used to bring in the 'variety' you speak of....that would cost less money to both build, and maintain than the Rex or Evo.

  • @RMBmike Yes I agree. And to add to that, all-wheel-drive transmission is big and heavy but its performance of 4 wheels compensates for the weight. So it really is pointless to convert EVos and Wrxs to RWD cuz the big heavy transmission just becomes dead weight.

  • @briinums and same goes for FWD cars too. Like the Scion tC

  • @briinums damn straight RMBmike doesnt really have a clue

  • because its different from having a 240 or a an ae86...its called being different...u should try it sometime

  • @RMBmike well. i own a subaru. and maybe sometimes id like to just have a drift but dont have the money to buy to cars. all you do is buy a 400-600 dollar rwd spool for your wrx and its rwd. much cheaper then something rwd with as much power as a wrx. so thats why. and also with the orange team. why not? theres plenty of toyotas and nissans drifting. but you hardly see subarus or evos drifting. so why not?

  • @RMBmike if you think about it, that is where subarus handling name comes in. not so much with out it

  • @RMBmike

    Thats the point. Being different.

Not everyone wants to drift nissan, toyota, etc, etc.

  • @RMBmike its the same saying that about an evo but there's pleanty of RWd evo's in the drifting community so its just the same principle just a different badge!

  • @RMBmike Idiot.

  • were is that

  • SABI track, Riga, Latvia

  • he was asking for it...

  • žēl, kas galu galā notika ar to subāru? Itkā nav redzēts vairāk driftojot :(

  • ha dont worrie by standers if he looses control the 5 inch tyre wall will save u

  • ahh everytime i watch this i think "poor subaru" lol still a sweet vid though

  • amazing

  • Comment removed

  • Sweet ass drifting there bud.

  • VERY GOOD!

  • burning out too much, you don't even need to burn out that much to loose traction and make it slide...

  • To jest fajne

  • where is this?

  • SABI track "Bikernieki", Riga, Latvia

  • best way to make a subi rwd is to weld up the centre diff unless you have a fully adjustable unit. and removed the front drive shafts.

  • not the best way at all. you can change the gearboxes an diffs an do it for properly or you can weld diffs an get pinged by the cops for ilegal shit, its not safe to weld diffs

the best way would be to buy a DCCD gearbox an diff an do the split power, theyre not that dear

  • NICE!!! HOW WAS IT MADE RWD??

  • u switch the drivetrain from the the car but takes up time and money

  • ok, i have an extra rr diff i'm thinking of welding it, and buy a rwd conversion spool what you think??

  • hmmm well wht car cause it really depends

  • wel i have a 1993 jdm wrx

  • well it depends wht u wanna do with your car because it takes alot of work and time so it really depends wht u r going to do with it

  • From what I can tell he is smoking the tires, how is the engine blown?

  • I don't think you know what does 'limited slip diff' mean.

  • LSD doesn't do that....

  • That's what I said.

  • haha i agree

  • wow your retarded. a LSD doesn't allow you to do that. i may be mistaken but what your talking about i think is known as a dccd or something like that

  • lol, sounds like your friend was trying to sound good and like he knows a lot about cars haha, the lsd is meerly a limited slip differential which controls the amount of power going to each wheel, effects the turning radius n all this shit. i dont profess to fully know.

  • oh my, stupid comment of the day goes too.... Deanlyricalg!!!!

  • look m8 u people dont know shit u dont do no welding u get ajustable lsd my m8s was done by scooby clinic he can have fwd rwd or 4wd dont beleve me email scooby clinic then u will see whos comment is stupid u prik contact scooby clinic n they will tell u im not bullshittin

  • some cars come with DCCD not rare, not all that great as it still is AWD it just transfers the power to 75/25 (can do fwd/rwd/awd)

some people do mods to change this, but some STI comes with adjustable diffs, although its not 100% RWD its still very crazy, you cant pick up the gearboxs +diffs for like about 400 usd

  • I feel like your stupid

  • lock the diff up.. all power to back wheels.. and theres no smoke from the fronts what so ever all from the back.. CARS CAN BE MODIFIED TO RWD YOU KNOW.. stupid skeptic cunts.

  • btw. this was training day before drift competition. guys worked all night and replaced the engine :D

  • it really is rwd.. stop the flaming :)

  • RWD? So, tell me how did You make that Impreza RWD? because I think this will be funny story :)

  • its called a T-case. Same as used in the Evo from Tokyo Drift, u can make any AWD car into a RWD.( by using a T-Case, or if u dont know shit, its called a Transfer Case)...lol, so um uh, there ya go.

  • is this wat my mates scooby has then cos he can change it to fwd rwd or 4wd

  • yes i think it is.

  • if your talking a stock feature(eg not a modification) then yes its possible BUT its limited, its call DCCD (driver controlled center differential?) i think its something like 75/25 % power to what ever wheels you choose. so e.g 75% power at the rear wheels 25% power at the front, you cant get 100% RWD power from a subby without major modifications(well at least to do it right) check out my vids

  • i think that subaru impreza is a trust worthy car to have

  • hrtfjyy you even dont have a car you poor loser so you may never talk shit about subarus it wil always be your dreamcar loser!!

  • how'd he get it to become a RWD?

  • Using a T-Case.

  • wait.. i meant lhd. is it left hand drive?

i'm not really an subaru fan.

  • nice car man. my favorite shape.

didnt know they came in rhd.

  • fuck up.

drifting is a sport as much as time attack or track racing. if anything is an embarrassment to motorsport its drag racing.. or blowing your engine on th m11. what a fag

everyone knows if you try to max out your stock car in top gear you will fuck the engine.

    dickhead.

  • ya clearly everyone knows that and im so cool cause i can say fuck, fag, and dickhead. and i know everything there is to know about cars. even though i think u cant max out a stock car without blowing the engine when u really can

  • badassery.

  • I blew my impreza engine on the M11...whats the satisfaction in that? I would much rather have blown it having fun around the track!

  • someone hasn't gone sideways before lol

  • If you have any talent for skillfull driving, use it on the racetrack, where the idea is to go as far as you could on your tyres. You will have all the posibilities in the world to blow your engine there. But then at least for a purpouse...

  • I have a hard time feeling sorry for someone that ruins their ride by driving like that. Calling it a sport is an offense to real racing.. If you´r gonna drive at all, do something usefull with those expensive tyres you got.....

  • im not complainin its ur opinion

ugly - not true (apart from new one)

slow - not true (apart form new one)

ugly interior - true is pretty cheap

its your opinion but i dnt think it is

n lots of people think the same as me

  • wtf u tlkin bout this ones drrftin your jus jelous

  • y would i be jelouse of a POS

  • how is it a POS???

  • ugly, slow, cheap engine, ugly interior ,and subaru is just plain unatractive

  • im not complainin its ur opinion

ugly - not true (apart from new one)

slow - not true (apart form new one)

ugly interior - true is pretty cheap

its your opinion but i dnt think it is

n lots of people think the same as me

  • i dont know ware u live but its like that haere were more of a evo type of person

  • o in Englabd we have great subarus

    22B

    Sti Type R UK

    i dnt no bout US

  • in the us there are more than 3 times as many sti's than evo's.

and if you think the interior in a old subaru is ugly and cheap, you should see a evo's, just nasty.

  • I agree, im a Evo guy tho. Im from Colorado, an almost all the SRC's up here have more WRx's and STi's than Evo's. But both cars are amazing, i hope one day id have the pleasure of owning both and driving them =).
