hey what is ur fae list? do u play remove soul and negte/countersquall? or do u play broken ambitions? and is war hammer still good for u? i want to see ur list ... and sower is really good with scion, so 4 scion and 2-3 sower is pretty soild, and also sprite is a lil overrated
I dont know why you keep the thoughtseizes in the post board games against aggro decks, theyre only relevant in the first few turns and you can deal with their stuff easily anyways. Also, my faerie list plays 2 sowers main and a persuasion in the board in case they expect sower
Nice vid. It really helps a casual player like me who would have trouble figuring out what the correct play would be in tense situations like this. Thanks!
also..colossus isnt really a problem anymore for faeries considering that most builds run 4 sower and a couple remove souls/soul manip after board..(btw, i wouldnt board out all my broken ambitions if they play spells like that)
Even though the harbinger allows him to drop bosks untapped, is it still not better to grab the hierarch which has the potential to stall him at 2 lands?
Taking the harbinger gives him multiple outs to blow up your bitterblossom uncontested (any combination of treefolk/shifters and or 2 basic/pain lands) and also allow him to ramp his mana AND get an exalted dude
By binning the hierarch, he MUST draw one of 3 remaining heirachs to kill your blossom turn 2.
Pretty nutty draws for the fae, I agree that Doran should be favoured. About that colossus, why use a CC on it while you are holding a Sower and the opponent has just one card in hand? Nice vid.
It also beats tokens, and has great a pretty decent match up against 5-color control, beats turbofog, and has a pretty solid game against lark. The only bad match-up when I play faeries is against Rdw and the according variants and if you have followed standard for awhile you will see that is what faeries has always struggled against.
HAHAH he has a big dork that doesnt do anything
I love how these guys commentate their games

How does a combined attack from a raichu and a cubone only deal 2 damage? They must be level one pokemon.

oh good thx
ThingThongThaisanDi 2 years ago
Better than that, you can champion any fae permanent, like bitter blossom or a changeling or a man land like fairy conclave.

Nice video but you have to admit, the faerie deck did have a nearly perfect game compared to the doran who drew two lands in a row...

I think u shouldnt if countered the colossus and played the sower to take it
Blightning3723 2 years ago
i think people dont understand that Sower is easy to deal with. I cant deal with a Colossus very well. Countering is the most optimal play.

On thoughtseize the right play if you want to prevent pridemage would be taking pridemage. I have liked colossus quite a bit over liege.

Chameleon Colossus does not have protection from blue, so bouncing it with Cryptic Command still works.

faeries is still viable and it usually dominates g//w, b/w tokens, and swans nice vid.

This is not the GP Seattle doran deck as that had no chameleon colossus. What other changes have you made?
annoyboye 2 years ago
ah yea, we made that change as it seemed a bit better than a few of the other card choices.
carthwolf 2 years ago
Can you post you entire list please? I really like the deck and would like to see your other ideas.

doran isn't a popular deck and faeries only beats 1 deck swans

Doran won the Grand Prix in Seattle and Faeries held 5 of the top 8. I would reconsider your opinions.
