Leading innovator???? LOL Trip has not been an innovator since his EA days. This guy destroyed his 3DO company. Trip had a game called Meridian 59 which was light years ahead of World of Warcraft for its time and he dropped the ball. He is the complete opposite of an innovator and cost investors millions of dollars in the past and will do it again.

All that you really pointed out is that Trip has continually been ahead of the curve, and at times a bit too far ahead, obviously. I expect that you actually forgot the definition of innovator, which in itself is exactly that.

As for the cost to investors, it was their risk to take. Sometimes an investment like 3DO is just ahead of it's time, which many people in the game industry believe.
