Thanks for posting this. This was my first game for my nes when I was in 3rd or 4th grade-I am now omost 32. I still remember opening it christmas morn and than playing it till I passed out. The only thing that has changed about my love for video games is that now I wouldn't mind seeing the mario brothers and gyromite pull a train on samus while the dog from duck hunt watched and laughed. Hell, let the paper boy have a turn to-than they all die from space aids, just to keep it realistic.

Heh. Funny thing is, when I beaten this game as a Kid on the NES, I was about 6 years old, my old man watched me from start to finish and got that low time best ending. The old man was so surprised with seeing a naked samus he never thought she was a woman, always assumed was male.

Sighs those were the days, most of this generation of gamers now wants everything too easy. Too many cant withstand difficulty like it was back then anymore, probably why I play everything on Hard modes or higher

Dude I just wanted to say thanks for uploading this video. I've been playing for weeks and have grown VERY frustrated with this game. @TheInterceptingFists There were actually three Metroid games that came before Other M in the 2D timeline (i.e. not counting the Metroid Prime series, which takes place between Metroid and Metroid 2). I have the ending for Metroid 2: Return of Samus uploaded on Youtube.  The ending for Super Metroid is also uploaded by others on Youtube. I've uploaded an ending for Super Metroid on my Gamespot profile though if you prefer to see that one. The username on Gamespot is m0zart.

Zero Mission is a remake yes, but besides just the additional stuff at the end, it had a lot more depth and more areas to explore, like Crateria, that were not in the original game, not to mention having more boss battles. Zero Mission was a great remake that didn't stop at the limits of the original game.

@demetriius3000 i think he is using an emulator.. part of the challenge of the last boss was getting there and losing a lot of energy.. in this video he had already destroyed all the pillars you need to do to get to motherbrain.. also the trick is to not fall into the little pit of lava right in front of motherbrain... play the game and youll see its harder than this.

Metroid Zero Mission - Samus stops the space pirates there.

Metroid 2 Return of Samus - Samus exterminates all metroids except a baby one.

Super Metroid - The baby Metroid is stolen by the space pirates in the beginning of the game. At the end of the game the baby metroid has grown into a Super Metroid.

Metroid Other M - In between Super and Fusion

Metroid Fusion - Samus is attacked by the X Parasite and has to confront the SA-X, a copy of herself at full power, while she is weakened.
