She was in a successful sitcom and several movies such as Harlem Nights; Head of State; The Women of Brewster Place; Tyler Perry's The family that Prays along with several others. Whether you like the woman or not the message she's bringing is of great value. It's an important message; I don't think this is what makes her famous...I think its perhaps what makes her a survivor instead of a victim and we should celebrate that.
