  • lol............mental hospital

  • looks like

  • This guy looks like he just got out of a mental hospital.

  • too bad isn't full frame, even so this camera is great, very close to the 5d, much cheaper and in some aspects better.

  • @Albertgr That's the point though. It's like a mini 1D mark IV, just like the 5D is a mini 1Ds :)

  • the thing that would keep me from getting this camera is the LCD screen. I would get this one but i like the way the 60D has a fold out LCD which makes shooting at an angle way better.

  • @M3TALxProductions That sort of the only big benefit that the 60D has. I actually regret not going for the 7D or Nikon D7000.

  • canon 5d mark ii for sale with 2 lens 24-105 mm and a 50 mm and battery with charger also 2 16gb flash memory cards and a speed light flash inbox me if you are interested great condition !!!!

  • freaking nice for 7D... say all the craps u want.. but u know it's good!

  • i need one for stop motion but is this really good at stop motion cuz this it what mobiledeli uses for his lego films that really has nice quality. But I'm dying cuz of the price what do you recommend. I was also thinking the 600D a.k.a T3i cuz it almost have same specs. ZBut what is really better for a stop motion animator and i'm only 10 yrs old

  • whate next on 7d?

  • This camera is too far from my shooting skills and budget. i was thinking of the sony alpha 33 or the canon T2i, also for HD video. Which one would you recommend? (or maybe another model or even another brand more or less at the same price)

  • @Aristowi How about the canon T3i?

  • @Aristowi Go for the t2i and a 50mm 1.8 prime.

  • can you video tape with this camera?

  • @LSboyz112795

yes you can, this camera shots full 1080p video.

  • @LSboyz112795 tape?

  • 7D or T2i?!?!?!

  • @chasen310 depends on skill if you are new go for the T2i if you are more advanced go for the 7D

  • Great review(s)!

  • I cant chose between 7d and 300s :/

  • @jazzybatra you dumb

  • I want that for christmas

  • When I borrowed this camera for a test it totally blew me away. Now I own one and am still amazed!

  • wait, you can only shoot up to 12 mins in HD?

  • getting one TOday!

  • Got mine 2 weeks ago...magnificent beast!

  • Just got mine!!!....cant wait to explore

  • @woahitsjeff have to wait till wednesday to get everything in the mail! i wish it was on sunday!

  • Just bought it!

    Love it!!!

  • Canon rules over nikon

  • my tests on 50D vs 7D -- 50D the red banding at iso 12800 was bad - the 7D wins hands down on the high iso test with the noise reduction turned on hi - the 7D is more than 1 stop better than the 50D for usable shots --- the 50D focus is good but the 7D focus is more perfect

  • Is the 7D a full frame camera?

  • @YehYehYeah No, unfortunately not. This is why I'm torn between the 5D mark II and the 7D. I just Hope the 5D mark III will bee out soon. And that it is a substantial improvement on the mark II.

  • @baldurus1 5D Mark IV will be MEGA-WOW!

  • @YehYehYeah 0:38 - He clearly says APS-C

  • This guy has rabbit teeth. Give him a carrot so he can crew on it and entertain us sum moar!

    :D

  • That's relevant.

  • I wished to upgrade to 7D but since there is lot of noise at higher ISO, i prefer to stick to my 40D. As per most of the review websites, 7D has more noise than 50D and 50D has more noise than 40D which concludes 7D is worst than 40D in noise level. Couldn't understand why Canon is running for more FPS and Megapixel and additional features to compete with Nikon.

  • Nope, better picture and video than 40D.

    7D all the way.

You can deny the facts all you like.

  • @jazzybatra you shoot at 100 ISO and you won't have any noise. The 50D is better than the 40D anyway.

  • @jazzybatra

don't know where you get your info from but i think you need to look at that comment further as the canon 7d is a massive improvement in iso over 50d i have both these cameras and getting rid of the 50d partly because of those reasons.

  • While testing the burst rate. I Got 189 shots with an 8 GB (non UDMA card) before the camera stopped. I also had to disabled the high noise control in order to get that, which did not matter because I was shooting at an iso speed of 100. I absolutely love the camera and well worth the money.

Although the 7D is slightly more expensive than the D300s, you get more mp, better HD video quality, and faster frames per second. I think that justifies the slightly higher price. But that's just me.

  • To (stubones) thanks for the tip i will get VLC and try what you sugested yhanks again bro.

  • A full review in under 5 minutes ? WOW ! You must not think this camera worth investing much of your time when Cameralabs gave it 16 minutes to review !

  • so...

  • IS this 7D FULL FRAME Camera, because I still don't know that...?

  • No, it's not a full frame, just a 35mm :)

  • Uhm... Full frame IS 35MM... You mean APS-C...

  • @dotBran

full frame means sweet fa to me.

rather have the 7d all day long with the sheer amount of features you get over the 5d ii.

and anyway full frame only means you have to crop the crappy edges you get from full frame so all in all no point in my opinion.

  • @dotBran One reason I prefer the 7D is because it's made for action and versatility, with the 8fps continuous. But I completely agree with you. The 5D makes stunning images because of its massive sensor, but is considerably lacking in features when compared to the 7.

  • nay. not a full frame. just 1.6 crop. stupid idea on canon to make people think its a step up from the 5d mark ii, when in reality its a step up from the 50d. so it should be called the 70d

  • its freaking big! but its beautiful!

  • @WtrampedG Ha, I saw it at jessops today and was like whoa! it absolutely dwarfed my a200!

  • Hey guys can I select a frame from the HD video and make a print (7d)?

  • If you download (for free) VLC media player to your pc, it has the function to take a snapshot while playing a video. make sure you change the snapshot format to jpg though. You will then have a 1920x1080 still if using full HD.

  • god damned, i love my 7d. especially with the 50 1.4 is does stunning performance. besides, i would bet my kitten that the af is not slower than the af of the d300.

  • I'm getting the 7D for Christmas and I CAN"T WAIT!! LOL.

    Nice Review. :)

  • so now is 1D mark 4?

when will 1Ds mark 4 come out?

got "S" and no "S" got what different?

    am I asking a noob question =="

  • It took Quite long for you guys to upload the review.

    Anyhow Nice job as usual.

When we would have the review of 1D mk4 cuz i wanna know how much the crop factor(1.3x) limits the lenses.

Cuz you got to use full frame lenses but they 'll be cropped due to APS-H size, which means no proper wide angle.

Will this make the 1D mk4 just a sport shooter and not an all-rounder like D3s,

Speaking of which When is the review of D3 being uploaded???

  • How good is the iso actually? couldnt find anyt good coparison to the 5dmk2 on the web. someone knows?

  • because for most photographer it's nice to have 1080p video at ur finger tip .. plus interchangeable lense.. a real video shooting 1080p with interchanger len? how big would that big and how must would it cost? lol

  • yes, you never know when you're going to need the vid feature for those emergency situations.

  • @ billyandika3158. Haha you really don't know much about cameras. bc If you did you wouldn't of said that...

  • @ IntensePizza what do you mean, they people with canon cameras especially those with 1080 keep boasting about yadda yadda to nikon owners like me, when in fact, why do you need a dslr to record such videos anyways. p.s. some 1080 canons are only limited to 25p, that's not good...

  • @billyandika3158 Having video capability built in a dslr is a major advantage for a professional and not just pros. Like selective focusing not having to carry around 2 cameras (which most pros already have 2, so that would make it 3) you can use your lenses on them You're not limited to the lens thats fixed onto your camcorder Some Nikons have video capability too (D90 ect:)

Also this isn't one of those cameras That are only limited to 25p Actually, this is one of the best ones on the market.

  • this makes me think of not bothering with the nikon d700,

  • i want 7d ....
