On a more serious note, I have to disagree on your dismissal of science as being important in Dr Strobel's conversion to Atheism. While not universal, many people have converted as a result of studying science, or converted to "weak atheism" as a result of applying the

Wait Miller's experiment lead to living cells? Pretty sure that his experiment lead to an empty shell of a cell made by the natural tendencies of phospholipids. It it NO WAY AT ALL proves anything about abiogenesis. At least that's my understanding. If I'm wrong, let me know. If I'm not, I'm pretty sure this "analysis" is about as biased as it gets. Another example of a supposedly non biased "scientist" pushing their religion.

@DoesNotApply the actual explanation is "not hard" but is not that simple as yours. It involves: gravitational field, type of gas, distance from star, and initial mass of gas. Anyway, it's true that hydrogen 'tends' to scape. And btw, the urey-miller experiment did not demonstrate that abiogenesis has been confirmed, it only showed organic compounds, and specially life-builing blocks, can form from inorganic ones. it's the first step of evidnece in a candidate theory of life origins.

A straw man is when you create an absurdly oversimplified version of an arguement or theory, (like building a straw-man) then attack it in a way that avoids the relevant details. For example, when someone says "Evolution means man came from slime!" It sounds absurd because it ignores all the details of the evolutionary theory, and is thus easy to attack. A red herring I believe is a simple distraction, something that makes people ignore the details of what's being said.
