I love Sci-Fi and FPS games, but not only is the system incredible but it's F2P as well! Plus it's not a "pay-to-win" game, meaning more equality amongst players and definitely a more wholesome game-playing experience.

@AlphaSonicNova hopefully the cash shop system is limited to Vanity items like costumes and stuff...cos cash shops that give 2x and what not almost ALWAYS break the game in the long run. sure it's nice to pay a little bit to catch up with your friends...but there will always be the rich little kids who play hardcore.

if they had something like teamplay exp bonus. all the better for the teamwork aspect.

Hrm... tbh I don't think it looks that interesting... the gigantic jetpacks look silly and jetpacks seem like they'd be easy to abuse, it seems like it's mostly gunning down little fast things, or just unloading bullets as fast as you can and overall it doesn't seem to have much depth.

I'd be glad if I was wrong, but it doesn't look that amazing.

All in all, this is going to be an amazing shooter. The best yet,as far as I can tell.Not trying to correct you, just think you should look it up.

I've played it at PAX, it's impossible to abuse of it. The story is really amazing, everything is perfect, graphics, physics and shooter dynamics. There's a open PvE world, as an MMO but NOT an MMO, where more than 100 players can join missions with or without instances. Dynamic events as said are the most amazing thing ever in the online game history, enemies can take control of cities. Classes are balanced too. Crap PCs can run it too they tested it on a NETBOOK.Beta keys soon.

@dearthpanda Well I wish I could say that. Borderlands was so booooooooooring in my opinion. No variation whatso ever. And only the ever changing guns was not enough to keep me going. Same goes for mmorpg's, I have played wow, and soon i found myself having 15 lvl 20 chars. And then I quit. I feel this game comming on the same. Its not the games fault, but mine. I know, but if there is not enough variation in the quests, items, locations I get bored very fast.

@liminara Nop, i had 1 lvl 59 eventually. And I quit. And a mate of mine has i don't know, a lot max lvl chars and still plays it, and he still does the same thing over and over, grindfest, grindfest, grindfest. Yeah even the raids are grind fests. You have to kill a boss 1000 times to get that item you want.

Besides, I don't have time to plan raids and play in a guild. So it was nothing for me anyways

Free to play games can do well and more importantly be fun to play. Crossfire was a good example of that until they let it get ruined by foreigners. Project Blackout is a good example of it at the moment.

This game looks like a lot of fun and it's close to what I envisioned for a good MMOFPS. An alien world with creatures to fight for PVE with the ability to upgrade gear and get stronger. Now we haven't seen it yet but we need PVP areas for regular FPS combat which I'm sure will exist.
