@mark224 that's true, I've been listening to a lot of talk radio where announcers will rip on stupid comments or whatever sometimes its funny, but I just think its over the top. Most of the time the radio host is more ignorant in the situation and maybe its me, but I just don't think its that funny. I find it refreshing to listen to a professional broadcast like Dan Patrick.

I think you might've misunderstood, the guy who was interrupting him was not a radio host, it was another comedian guest in the studio and also a friend of the person telling the story. they were 2 friends goofing on each other. also this is not an interview, O&A don't do interviews with stand up comedians, they just have a conversation with them

Birbiglia was trying to do his act. Comedians don't come on O&A and perform their bits like with other shows. You hang out and goof on whatever comes up. Mike stopped the show to perform this written bit from the stage. Listen to the 2 minute mark, the real comics started being funny on the spot and he cuts it off so he can go back into his material. Notice how Anthony and Nick were trashing him alongside Vos? Everyone knew what he was doing and he got trashed accordingly.
