in reponse to D) Well your character is supposed to be a selfless hero who helps others at the expense of not having a happy life. And btw, im sure there ARE still people living in places like Goldshire and the Capital Cities who live peaceful and happy lives.
I understand what you mean. But I was talking about they see killing kids "besides it is just a game". You know there are people who can suit blizzard for that.
then he got commanded by frostmourne he didnt know its powers that the lich king chosen him to become his mentor cuz the lich king practiced some magic during his abandon in northrend from kil'jaiden so he returned to kill his father while he became a death knight so he met tichondrious and jaina abandoned him and met thrall , mean time arthas was guided to kel'thuzad (u know the other part of the story) anyway why is the picture on the video looks like stormwind?
wrong this all wouldnt happen if jaina and arthas found the undead lich kel'thuzad he was leading his men to victory arthas then mal'gains came and scorched the lands and poisend the food to the villagers so arthas was mad about this so uther told him return but he didnt obey he brought a few knights with him to save the lands while the fight began mal 'gains fierd up the city so he went to northrend to hunt him and found frostmourne the guard tried to protect him but failed continue----
were you rushing when you typed this...cause all I could make out was Arthas was mad and Malganis for poisoning food and burning crops...and btw, Malganis never burnt any land, just the city, also, Kel'Thuzad was a necromancer then, not a Lich
Mal'ganis' objective was to turn the world into an undead place, and he planned to do this by "plaguing" (not poisoning) the grain with magic that turned people into the undead. He didn't burn any towns besides Stratholme. Arthas wanted to save his people from the undead no matter the cost including his friends death of Muradin when he received the Frostmourne.
incorrect Muradin is not dead he was hit by a shard of ice and he lost all hes memory know he is still alive but as named as someone else but its muradin :) u can read that down in wowwiki and see in vid's with the qeust of wow with the past :)
Yeah I made a mistake I forgot he was knocked out by the ice and then he was lost in Storm Peaks which is the snow level in northrend where Frostmourne is, and he found his brother Brann Bronzebeard and they met with the king of ironforge. they r all brothers.
2:15 is so fricken amazing, im a night elf druid resto, i was jumpin around doing wild growth and rejuv, this could possibly be the best music for timed cos, because it gets u right int othe game itself, all i have to say blizzard.. Fantastic job on the music in cos
Well, neither Jaina, nor Uther tried to reason with him when he was getting increasingly fanatic. In the state of mind he was in, the fact that his friends abandoned him with disgust felt like the ultimate betrayal, probably. He does not want to kill his people either - but he thinks only by bringing down Mal'Ganis can his people be saved. And he thinks, he has to do all the grueling work to save all of them - his friends do not only leave him alone with it - but they even despise him for it.
In Northrend, Arthas is very narrow minded as well. He doesn't care about the soldiers or the people he's hurting, as long as they're out of his way so he can save his people. Seriously, destroying the ships so they can't go back and then killing the mercenaries, not giving a care about the warning on Frostmourne's pedestal, you can't deny that to some degree Arthas had gone a little loopy before he wielded Frostmourne. So please, don't tell me that I don't play Wc3 or read the books.
I play Wc3 all the time and know the lore very well. If you'd pay attention to the game, his behavior changes dramatically after the battle at Hearthglen. He becomes so obsessed with purging the Scourge from the land that he doesn't consider any other alternatives. He betrays Uther, disbands the Silver Hand, doesn't listen to Medivh, and instead of trying to think of another way to deal with it, he slaughters everyone in Stratholme and hunts Mal'ganis down without one single regret.
Stonezorz, yes there is something that explains this. Not only would it stop them from turning into the undead and such, but at the time Arthas decided to slaughter everyone in Stratholme, he'd pretty much lost his mind already. I tend to think of it as he developed the same attitude as Maiev Shadowsong when she was hunting Illidan, although by doing so Arthas doomed the kingdoms of Lordaeron and Quel'thalas and put all of Azeroth in great peril.
No m8... He didn't lost his mind... He just killed everyone in Stratholme because he didn't want to fight 10000 undead scourge after the citizens were turned undead... Better to kill every threat when its not attacking, then to fight with it... Play WC3 and read some Warcraft books before you say that, at this point, he already lost his mind...
I consider this music treason! PURGE IT IN THE NAME OF LORDAERON!

Can I just say that Azeroth is a pretty sad place to live?
A) Orcs have been tricked, enslaved, abused, used, and exiled. Not to mention Garrosh is going to screw up them up.
B) Draenei were tricked, enslaved abused, used, and exiled. No one's screwing them up, except their own.
C) Constant warfare, blood-letting, losses, sacrifices, martyrdoms, gladatorial onslaughts, the armaggedon, etc.
D) How would you feel if you couldnt sleep in your own bed every night traveling endlessly to help others?
1amn0th3r3 2 years ago 3
in reponse to D) Well your character is supposed to be a selfless hero who helps others at the expense of not having a happy life. And btw, im sure there ARE still people living in places like Goldshire and the Capital Cities who live peaceful and happy lives.

weaponomega614 2 years ago
@weaponomega614 hmmmmm be cause it's a little bit awful to kill a kid?
gothcraft 2 years ago 3
@gothcraft Its either the kid dies a slow, painful death and becomes a zombie, or a quick, painless one.
wasp9 2 years ago
I understand what you mean. But I was talking about they see killing kids "besides it is just a game". You know there are people who can suit blizzard for that.

then he got commanded by frostmourne he didnt know its powers that the lich king chosen him to become his mentor cuz the lich king practiced some magic during his abandon in northrend from kil'jaiden so he returned to kill his father while he became a death knight so he met tichondrious and jaina abandoned him and met thrall , mean time arthas was guided to kel'thuzad (u know the other part of the story) anyway why is the picture on the video looks like stormwind?
Xstormraider 2 years ago

Xstormraider 2 years ago
wrong this all wouldnt happen if jaina and arthas found the undead lich kel'thuzad he was leading his men to victory arthas then mal'gains came and scorched the lands and poisend the food to the villagers so arthas was mad about this so uther told him return but he didnt obey he brought a few knights with him to save the lands while the fight began mal 'gains fierd up the city so he went to northrend to hunt him and found frostmourne the guard tried to protect him but failed continue----
Xstormraider 2 years ago
were you rushing when you typed this...cause all I could make out was Arthas was mad and Malganis for poisoning food and burning crops...and btw, Malganis never burnt any land, just the city, also, Kel'Thuzad was a necromancer then, not a Lich
CBleck 2 years ago
@Xstormraider
Mal'ganis' objective was to turn the world into an undead place, and he planned to do this by "plaguing" (not poisoning) the grain with magic that turned people into the undead. He didn't burn any towns besides Stratholme. Arthas wanted to save his people from the undead no matter the cost including his friends death of Muradin when he received the Frostmourne.
cbfd234 2 years ago
incorrect Muradin is not dead he was hit by a shard of ice and he lost all hes memory know he is still alive but as named as someone else but its muradin :) u can read that down in wowwiki and see in vid's with the qeust of wow with the past :)
sevdacayan 2 years ago 2
Yeah I made a mistake I forgot he was knocked out by the ice and then he was lost in Storm Peaks which is the snow level in northrend where Frostmourne is, and he found his brother Brann Bronzebeard and they met with the king of ironforge. they r all brothers.
cbfd234 2 years ago

Well, neither Jaina, nor Uther tried to reason with him when he was getting increasingly fanatic. In the state of mind he was in, the fact that his friends abandoned him with disgust felt like the ultimate betrayal, probably. He does not want to kill his people either - but he thinks only by bringing down Mal'Ganis can his people be saved. And he thinks, he has to do all the grueling work to save all of them - his friends do not only leave him alone with it - but they even despise him for it.
Carsath 2 years ago 10
In Northrend, Arthas is very narrow minded as well. He doesn't care about the soldiers or the people he's hurting, as long as they're out of his way so he can save his people. Seriously, destroying the ships so they can't go back and then killing the mercenaries, not giving a care about the warning on Frostmourne's pedestal, you can't deny that to some degree Arthas had gone a little loopy before he wielded Frostmourne. So please, don't tell me that I don't play Wc3 or read the books.
moo5009 2 years ago 7
I play Wc3 all the time and know the lore very well. If you'd pay attention to the game, his behavior changes dramatically after the battle at Hearthglen. He becomes so obsessed with purging the Scourge from the land that he doesn't consider any other alternatives. He betrays Uther, disbands the Silver Hand, doesn't listen to Medivh, and instead of trying to think of another way to deal with it, he slaughters everyone in Stratholme and hunts Mal'ganis down without one single regret.
moo5009 2 years ago 5
Stonezorz, yes there is something that explains this. Not only would it stop them from turning into the undead and such, but at the time Arthas decided to slaughter everyone in Stratholme, he'd pretty much lost his mind already. I tend to think of it as he developed the same attitude as Maiev Shadowsong when she was hunting Illidan, although by doing so Arthas doomed the kingdoms of Lordaeron and Quel'thalas and put all of Azeroth in great peril.
moo5009 2 years ago 4
Luciank255 2 years ago
killing LIVE citizens = dead citizens = corpses for scourge = scourge armies ( same as leaving them alive)
so...why kill them then?
cr4yv3n 2 years ago 3
Its better to kill them while they are siting ducks, then to fight 10000 of them all at once...
