look up the handshake live at glastonbury 2010. and flash delerium at glastonbury 2010. thats what MGMT's all about. theyre songs from both albums and they prove how awesome MGMT is live as well as their psychedelic melodies.

@Cms1177 yeah, a lot of people overlook that i think. records are all done by dan snaith but caribou expands once live (for those that were curious). not to mention he has a doctorate in math :p haha

@shirtsleeve64 go fuck yourself i was listening to mgmt before they even had hits out. Ive listened to both albums thoroughly and i like their old sound better. Brian eno was alright but it all just sounds like intruments bein thrashed instead of thier old melodic trippyness.

this band KILLS IT LIVE, cant say the same for MGMT. theyre also a lot more psychedelic, and less poppy.

@candyflippedaround you're talking about the 'old' MGMT, they were not that good live, but now they are, 9 months ago I went to a concert and they kicked ass, if you compare their new album congratulations with caribou you would conclude that caribou is a lot more poppy.. just my opinion.. I love Caribou btw, i just don't think you've got the right points when you compare it with mgmt
