Thanks for the video. Well done. I carry a M&P 9mm compact with external safety. But if I had another choice, I would defintely get the P30. It's beautiful.
@clonetrex The 380acp/9mmkurtz is used often as a defensive rd. Personally, I would suggest learning to shoot with a larger gun. Not caliber, but the gun itself, like the Beretta 84/85. It's easier to learn the fundamentals with. 380acp is also expensive ammo.
@GunznGear cool thanks for the help, so would you suppose a colt 1911 stainless steel with black grip? it looks just like an original m1911 with the spur hammer, sorry only know the base design not the number but i definately want one that shoots the .45acp
very nice video i am looking for a sub compact or pocket size pistol i am about to get my CHL and i currently own a S&W .40VE its a good gun but a little large so CC i am thinking about the Beretta nano in 9mm or maybe a ruger LCP in .380 well please let me know what u think and keep up the good work on the videos
@Skidz1818 Congrats on getting your CHL! I'm not familar w/ the Beretta Nano, but I will always choose a 9mm over a 380. I've handled that Ruger LCP and it's kinda small to use for primary carry, for me. I suggest you check w/ local ranges, and see if you can rent these guns so you can try them out. Thanks
@2142Unknown The 1911 is a very good gun, but it was made in 1911. Just because it is still serviced doesnt mean its as good/better than todays high end guns.
im looking to get a good hand gun with good firerate, low recoil and has great accuracy.out of this video which gun would you recomment for what im looking for?
@TheHumanpopsicle I've shot a few P228's they are ok. The P228 is basically the same as the P225, except it has higher capacity. You can find P228's on the auction sites, and usually for reasonable prices.
@dreamofher665 I certainly agree that the P30 is very ergonomic, I really like mine. The M&P45c is a little smaller in size, but not by much. The grip length is also shorter on the M&P, but w/ the finger extension on the mag, it still feels good in my hand. Both are excellent handguns!
Can you make a video on the sig p250 i have heared many reviews about it and the problems that have happened to it. have you ever had any problems with it
@MrBigy92 Yeah I'll eventually make a Sig P250 vid, but I do have a few vids to do first. I haven't had any problems w/ my P250. Are there YT reviews that discuss issues w/ it?
@O7ROADKING I've had that wallet style holster for 5 yrs. I had the web site address saved, but it is no longer in use, and I couldn't find it w/ a google search Sorry
@GunznGear Thanks for getting back to me i Appreciate it. i like the way you can just pull it and use it without worrying about your gun getting stuck in the holster.ill go to a leather shop and see if i can get one made.nice collection of hand guns by the way
@gaozhi2007 I'm a long time Ruger fan, but I must admit I usually don't care for their centerfire semiauto pistols. My Son, and my Son in law both have the SR9c, and they love it.
You're very articulate sir, don't sell yourself short! Is that SIG with the white grips the four runner for the Navy Seal version that I am always seeing underwater?
@MyEmanuel2011 Thanks for the kind words. The Sig you asked about is the Sig P229 which is a compact version of the P226. Yes the P226 in 9mm is one of the handguns that the SEALs here in Norfolk are issued. Thanks
what do you think about the bullets with the nose made of steel? they are much cheper than the regular bullets made of plumb, is there any risk of damage to the pistol using steel bullets? thanks
@rodlopcab I have not seen bullets designed for handguns made from steel. The only steel rifle bullets I'm aware of are military Armor Piercing bullets. Usually handgun bullets are made from lead or copper or a combination of the two. I've been told shooting a lot of AP rounds can accelerate the wear of a rifle barrel. I would expect the same would be true for steel handgun bullets. Here in the U.S. AP rounds are illegal to purchase by civillians. Are you sure you don't mean steel cased ammo?
Hello @GunznGear I visited the store and they have on sale the bullets 9mm Wolf (full metal jacket), 50 bullets for $24 thats why my concern if they can damage the gun as they are so cheap, I am finding about the bullet's prices to decide what gun is better for me and make sure that I can afford to buy 100 bullets to practice every week :)
@rodlopcab Yes Wolf ammo is steel cased. I have never used Wolf untill recently and that was 7.62x39 AK ammo. There are opinions out there, that quality control is lacking, but I've not experienced that myself. I prefer using U.S. manufactured ammo because of the strict oversight and regulation which provides good quality, safe ammo.
Hi, I have owned a few lower named not too great guns, and then my latest was S&W Sigma SW9, which I have sold. I recently started shooting again with my friends, and he had a Sig P250 .40 cal sub compact. Now I love how light weight and how awesome it shot, but like your S&W m&p the grip seems to fall short in my hand. I'm serious about buying a P250, but I am torn between the Sub Compact and the Compact. Do you think that the Compact would provide to have the better feel?
@drtranIS3 It would be impossible for me to know what gun "feels good" in someone elses hands. The cool thing about the P250 is the ability to purchase different options to include size, grip width, and even caliber. I would suggest going to a gunshop that has the P250 and some of it's optional frames, and handle a few. Remember each frame size (full, compact, subcompact) has different grip sizes too(big, medium, narrow) at least the on the full and compact sizes, not sure about the subcompact.
Greetings from Costa Rica! nice videos! what do you think its better for a beginner, S&W M&P 9mm or 40 caliber, as an amateur I am still afraid of buying a gun without the thumb safety, what do you think? guns here are expensive and M&P compact are on the $950, thanks in advance!
@rodlopcab Hello and welcome! Here's a few points that may help you decide. 9mm ammo is cheaper than 40sw, with less felt recoil. That allows more practice w/ less chance to develop bad habits like flinching. M&P's are great guns, and all models offer options w/ a thumb safety. I think learning early to operate the safety is important. If you decide later to use a gun w/o one there is nothing new to learn, your thumb just sweeps by w/o effect. Conversly learning to use the safety takes awhile.
Hello again @GunznGear, I am about to buy my gun if possible tomorrow and I still have not decided what to do, my concern now is to know if better to have a compact gun with 13 bullets 9 mm (12 + 1) or 11 bullets .40 (10 + 1), what do you think for self defense and practice, to have more bullets with a low caliber or less bullets with a bigger caliber??
i revamped my p250c .45 +p to a .40sw with novak green n/sights, 13 rd extended mags and short trigger system which reduces the pull by about a half inch and the controllablity is unmatchable and yes the double tap capability is my favorite part
short trigger is only 45.00 and can be replaced very easily without filing or smithing if you know what you're doing
@tim1cim Sounds great! What short trigger system are you referring to? Since it uses a completely different trigger assembly than other Sigs, I wasn't aware of a new system for the 250.
What kinda holster do you use with the 229? I'm looking at getting one cause I'm planning on applying for a job in Security and they issue the P226 for a duty weapon, so I want to stick with a similar battery of arms for simplicity of training.
@Mr45Bullitt Thanks Bill, I was replacing a couple of these guns 2 or 3 times, I'm surprized, that I finished it. The next catagory will be the hardest for me, because that's my biggest group of handguns.

@rodlopcab Hello and welcome! Here's a few points that may help you decide. 9mm ammo is cheaper than 40sw, with less felt recoil. I think learning early to operate the safety is important. If you decide later to use a gun w/o one there is nothing new to learn, your thumb just sweeps by w/o effect.
