Is it recommended to change the headers if you get the MAC long tube h-pipe? I know it would make sense to do everything at once, but asking the question through a budget point of view. :)

@eclipes0013XbxLive oem as in nothing on the body is aftermarket body panels and they came on mustangs from the factory. such as the mach 1 came with that grille delete and the lip. the gt's came with those rear bumpers etc.

@GuardianofDarkness actually the mileage on a v8 with a 6 speed is about the same as the 3.8l v6's (I used to own a 2000 mustang 3.8 which got worse mpg than my ss camaro) mustang v6 auto's had 17/25 mpg manual 17/27 mpg. my ls1 v8 gets 17/26, has 150 more hp and doesn't sound like a honda civic (which gets better mileage and runs a faster quarter mile than this v6)
@Chris02LS1ss I didn't know they were the same. But I can tell you that I get at least 25-29 mpg in my car. My tank is also tiny so in my area I only pay about $25 to fill it up! It's awesome! lol.

@aeternusx I had a 2000 V6 mustang and only put bolt-ons and killed gt's. JBA shorty headers, programmer, 70mm throttle body, Dual cat-back magnaflow, K&N filter, Underdrive pully, 3.73 gears, It had 188 whp and 207 lb ft torque on the dyno. I was about to drop new pistons in it. the guy at the dyno said it would bump me up another 100 hp to the wheels for $5000. You don't even need to supercharge them and they will kill GT's. Wish I still had it.

I was just stating that based on the principle of putting so much money into V6 when I'm sure that that amount of money could equate to a V8. Don't get me wrong, it is a great looking vehicle - exceptionally clean - I just would have invested the time and money into a V8. Also, insurance + gas mileage is a good point, although, most people don't purchase these vehicles for practicality.

even if his rents did buy it its an 02 v6 with proly around 70000 miles that car at the auctions goes for 4K and the exhaust some were around 800 to 1100 so just under 5K isn't a lot so he deff could have bought it himself so people need to fuck off and stop being jealous of other peoples rides because you spent ur money on a civic and that civic didn't get blown because you spent all your money on bud so fuck off

dude this is one of the baddest v6's i have ever seen looks wise, and the exhaust sounds good too. has a real raspy tone. like the black out looks good with the saleen wheels, hood scoop, and GT rear bumper. makes the look nice sixer.

I agree with you 100%. people talk shit about a car if its not the fastest out there. the other day I saw people on here bashing a guy for having a corvette c6 and not a z06. granted the c6 is two times as fast as my car but I still love mine. its quick and fun, and thats all I need for my first car to be.

@aeternusx I had a 2000 V6 mustang and only put bolt-ons and killed gt's. JBA shorty headers, programmer, 70mm throttle body, Dual cat-back magnaflow, K&N filter, Underdrive pully, 3.73 gears, It had 188 whp and 207 lb ft torque on the dyno. I was about to drop new pistons in it. the guy at the dyno said it would bump me up another 100 hp to the wheels for $5000. You don't even need to supercharge them and they will kill GT's. Wish I still had it.

@1998232v6 Why does your "name" include "232 V6" (3.8L V6) if you drive a GT? I was just stating that based on the principle of putting so much money into V6 when I'm sure that that amount of money could equate to a V8. Don't get me wrong, it is a great looking vehicle - exceptionally clean - I just would have invested the time and money into a V8. Also, insurance + gas mileage is a good point, although, most people don't purchase these vehicles for practicality.
