Every time she sings this song John Hartford cries tears of joy from heaven. And every time I've had a chance to see her, I've just fallen more and more in love with her. She is a true gem. To be able to have that talent, that voice, and that adorable “girl next door” appearance, and still be just a pleasure to be around is a great tribute to her upbringing. Not one bit of this has gone to her head. What a lovely, lovely woman she has turned out to be. Her parents must be beaming with pride.

@spannabecker Because people can't recognize talent. They want something to bump/grind to, not anything with substance or meaning. People are lazy as well, they turn on the radio and listen to clear channel stations with a 40 song tracklist instead of searching for music that isn't on the radio. I love finding things nobody knows about, it's such a simple pleasure. sorry to rant
