If God exists (he doesn't) how chauvinistic is it for him to judge his creations? It's the creations who judge the creator. Christianity preaches being humble, yet they believe false truths told by men thousands of years ago, and scoff at modern men for admitting that they don't know the answers that Christians believe they know. Okay, so i've reached part 2 of this documentary and I can honestly say that I do not possess the vocabulary to express my sheer horror and bemusement at some of the utterances of both the adults and the children. The idea of creationism is therefore not science, and cannot be treated as such. This is also why creationism can't be taught as a scientific alternative to evolution, because it is fundamentally not science. If they want to teach creationism, they can't present it as science.
I'm from Missouri, and I hope that this doesn't make you think that everyone in my state is like this. Please, these extreme people are few and far between. Watching this makes me ill.

its funny. im a catholic and we get a lot of flak from other christian sects because we dont put much emphasis on studying or learning the bible whereas evangelicals do if i am not mistaken and she seems to not pay attention to one of the main teachings of Jesus and themes of the bible: peace and love. she knows what the bible says but doesnt get the message

There are actually two different creation stories placed side-by-side in Genesis. Both stories are there because the most important part for the writers was that God created the earth, NOT exactly how he created it. I am a Christian (Lutheran), and I also believe in evolution. I believe that God gave us scientific reasoning, and that we need to use this to care for the earth. What these people are calling "Christianity" scares me.

I'm a Pagan and I don't believe that these children will grow up angry or dangerous. God will direct a person on the path they should be on. When they grow up they will face different challenges and will question if they need to question. I know many people that grew up like this and they found that God helped them to find balance in their faith and other faiths alike. It was hard for them to adjust to a society that didn't believe as they did and so they began to question what they were taught.

its funny. im a catholic and we get a lot of flak from other christian sects because we dont put much emphasis on studying or learning the bible whereas evangelicals do if i am not mistaken and she seems to not pay attention to one of the main teachings of Jesus and themes of the bible: peace and love. she knows what the bible says but doesnt get the message

Nothing wrong with being a Christian, but not telling your kids the truth about science and politics is. Those kids are going to be so pissed once they grow up, how do I know? There are actually two different creation stories placed side-by-side in Genesis. Both stories are there because the most important part for the writers was that God created the earth, NOT exactly how he created it. I am a Christian (Lutheran), and I also believe in evolution. I believe that God gave us scientific reasoning, and that we need to use this to care for the earth. What these people are calling "Christianity" scares me.

I'm a Pagan and I don't believe that these children will grow up angry or dangerous. God will direct a person on the path they should be on. When they grow up they will face different challenges and will question if they need to question. I know many people that grew up like this and they found that God helped them to find balance in their faith and other faiths alike. It was hard for them to adjust to a society that didn't believe as they did and so they began to question what they were taught.

I used the word 'God' because I didn't want to get into a huge debate over a name. Had I used something to 'show off' that I am pagan I am sure that I would get a comment telling me how I'm wrong and should chose a different path. I have watched the whole video before it was ever posted on youtube and found it to be very disturbing.

I ended up hurting myself, feeling bad over actions done by people I would never meet. Most postings on youtube are SO negative. And I honestly believe that we will eventauly walk on a path that God, sorry the source (pagan deity), had intended for us.
