  • I train every week in the Snow (on winter)

  • why the freaky music to start :(

  • Music is what/

  • Man whata waist of my time , Like seriously its really easy to two-handed vault a tiny wall and run around at night in the rain in slow motion ... and especially anyone can crawl around on the ground in the rain ( 0:33 )

  • @wukewuke no your talking shit about people training is a waist of time. instead of sitting on your ass on youtube all day go out and actually parkour maybe you would not waist so much time huh?

  • dangerous-like driving drunk

  • @lilsdafranchise excuse me? did you just say parkour is dangerous? i think you clicked the wrong video.

  • @zvz2ezzvz apparently its seems your an enthusiast by just watching these videos... have you actually done this sport?. For me I perform this sport when the conditions are favorable"NOT IN THE RAIN". In other words you can be drunk and still drive a car but the risk is very high-- that's all I was equating it to zvz2ezzvz ..I value my life. As my name suggests I'm a MutherF@cking Franchise!!!-- If you want to Battle just say so rather pretend to act hardcore and whine about my comments.

  • finally

  • damn this is intense

  • Im not sure why you guys like to have things so extremly hard, and painfull. I like to train in the rain cause its fun and gets you well trained.

  • @M416js

I believe that the whole point to train in the rain, or train when you're extremely tired (for instance, after parkour generations rendevouz ''warmups'') is in order to be able to adapt to any given situation. Anyone can train when It's sunny and you're feeling fresh and having fun, but training in the wet, when it's cold, and you are tired, is totally diffrent.

I'm not saying that training should be mundane and boring but the point is to be able to learn to enjoy both.

  • @BlacksVideos Yeah i know that whats i was kinda saying. I meant like, he likes it hard, which at first just sounded like he liked to be hurt and slip. I like it cuz its a challenge and like you said you learn to adapt.

I go out whenever its raining and parkour for that reason

  • I'm training in the rain, just training in the rain! what a glorious free run, I'm happy again!

  • this can bbe usefull when u r chasing down a dumbass that u want to hit in school hehehe

  • would this be good for me because im an 11 year old black belt

  • Everytime it's raining and I want to go out training, I watch this video! It's very inspiring.

  • You guys should check out my first parkour montage, were beginners so let us know if we could improve anything :P

  • Had my first practice in the rain yesterday, and its a completely different experience. I think I actually liked it a lot better because I had to focus a lot more. It should be raining/snowing the rest of this week, so its gonna be fun :D

  • I always train in my skate shoes. The grip is the same as my running shoes but things feel more raw. Also training is more difficult when doing big things. (drops cat leaps and jumping to walls or railings)

  • I've only ever vaulted over one thing in the rain and i slipped xD i haven't done Parkour in a while. I'm becoming lazy D:

  • at school it was bucketing down with rain i ran out side vaulted the ral clipped my knee and got soaking wet!

  • Ha that nigga got scooped by the ground gnr

  • I have found that many of the best traceurs I know and have met train not only in all conditions, but without gloves, and also do some of their training in just pants and a shirt, no shoes. Guess it depends on how far you want to push your limits!

  • my first parkour training was in the rain. slippery, wet asphalt and concrete, perfect conditions for the first attempts... or maybe not..

  • this enlightened me.. i always tend to train in a great day. everything is dry and heat is keeping you alive. but this time of year, it's always raining and i can't do much. but parkour is a discipline that teach us not to fear every obstacle and be a master of your environment. weather is a great obstacle and you need to master moving on such conditions. if you don't, your useless if time come that you need to move with this condition.

  • today it was very rainy too and... i don't know why, but something said to me that i have to go outside and do some parkour in the rain. so i went outside and then i've done parkour and yeah.... it was a very cool expirience, 'cause everything was different. it was just.... better

  • i was training in the rain this morning..... it was a pain in the ass.... my DCs have no grip!! =/

fuck florida and its damn storms!

  • @NlkOlVy please, do yourself a favor and buy some running shoes. ive done a few wallruns and stuff with my old skate shoes on (back when i still skated but my interest was slowly fading and little did i know that would soon drop my 5 year passion and waste all my effort and skill... for parkour) and damn the grip was good! but you'll kill your feet after enough time without the cushion and arc support.

  • buen video!!!

  • I've trained with James Gore.. He's very effecient and he provide good help when giving away his knowledge and wiseness!

  • It isn't only the surfaces that are impacted in adverse weather conditions. Your own body reacts differently. Your muscles react differently, and to some extent, even your balance and your brain are affected. You have to be much more aware of all of these things than on a nice day. ..and I think that's the real challenge and the real benefit of this sport. You become aware and awake like never before. (disclosure: Crippled up old fart who used to do stuff like this in SoCal inna '80's.)

  • nice video.. whats with the creepy music..

  • It was raining today and I attempted a assasin vault and I almost died!

  • just cuss thy said train in the rain and jst cus it rain dnt mean u kill urself geez relx man do it slowly if u thnk u cnt do it dont do it u risk ur life just for parkour? come on man do it slowly otherways if u rush ur on the list those ppl who died in pk u dnt wnt tht do u this video is just sayn get used to train any weather cus u dnt knw wen u gna need to use to save urself init or others anyway chill lol

  • parkour is very different in the rain, it just slows everything down and you dont really want to absoulty go flat out. but also if its raining bad like in the winter months i train in my house!!

  • Your right:P i feel the same lol

  • i think winter is a time to focus on your mind instead of the body...you know...balance...try it

  • WINTER SUX SERIOUSLY I HATE SNOW IT DESTROYS MY TRAINING,,,,, sorry for my bad spelling i´m a 14 year old boy from sweden XD i started to train in the end of summer and i jusst need to learn how to flip XDX

  • flips arent parkour... that slows ur movement

  • you could use a late flip to leap over something like a fence instead of vaulting it actually

  • @sweet7878 or just jump...

  • @DoncasterPKNinjas i don't think you get what i meant. cause there can be circumstances where you should flip instead of just jump

  • @Leoooonard Actually, i have been in several situations where i had a lot of momentum and there was a rail withing arms reach and i didn't have enough space to rotate for a kong or speed vault, so i had to catch the rail with my left palm up right palm down and flip my self over the rail.

  • flipping is freerunning

  • Nice! svensk!

  • when i do parkour in the rain i feel safer then when its nice out

  • lol that's basically not possible, you're saying that to be different

  • wtf how is that not possible

  • lol because it's more slippery!! listen to everything he says in this video, you can't go around hucking shit that you can when it's dry out, i don't care who you are

  • I train by rain and wind too but if it snow the night before the training realy suck you cant even do a little pase muraille ,

I try alot but i think to train by snow is not possible with a good suggest

sorry for bad english im from germany

  • I want to have friends like you guys because my friends jsut want to play with the ball and to deplacate by car , no parkour , no little yamakasi :((((

  • wow just think about parkour in the snow O.o

  • I hate winter :(

  • its very tough, and it limits the things you can do a lot.

  • well u can come here into finland, vantaa we have around 30cm snow here atm :_D

  • it sucks hard core. one of the only downsides to colorado

  • @ClamandLada17

I've tried it.. Don't try it..

  • @ClamandLada17 its actually easier, the snow breaks your fall in some cases. Rain is much much worse man .

  • Damn, I tried to train in the Rain and it's very good feeling. When you get focused, and do every step very precious. It's just an amazing feeling ! All Traucers should try it sometime :)

  • Try wallrunning while its raining, bitch >_>

Parkour is fast and fluid, having to slow down to a crawl is just silly.

  • I love parkour, its creative and is fun. I wish there were people like this around were I live.

  • i got the same prob -.-

and where i live there's like nothing that i can think of tho do it its all just lame here , hard tho find a place to practice

  • i agree. none of my friends do parkour.

  • O.o wow ok then calm down, I didn't mean for that to come out bad or anything

  • ah k well that's good that it's encouraged cause alot of guys that i know say that it's mainly a guy sport cause girls are "shit" or they're "not suppose to cause their girls", but thanks guys, very encouraging :D

  • parkour is not a sport so there stupid there and girls are very good parkour is how HUMANS used to move just to get around all are equal

  • Yes, girls can do parkour, but i've never seen anyone get really good. Either too many girls think that parkour is boys' stuff, or it is a result of less testoseron. I'm no doctor, but since testoseron gives aggression, it might help you overcome psychological(?) barriers, just a thought.

  • Yes it is dangerous to train in rain, but if you are serious that parkour is what you want, then you should do it. Many things get slippery, but some materials don't knowing which materials not to trust when it's wet is important if you follow David Belle's principles.

  • and lets say a bad man want to hurt you what do you do when its raining turn around and say hay i would kong over that but its raining i only train in sun can we do this another day no you will have to be prepared

  • you might not neccesarilly do a kong in the rain, its just to risky, but you could slide across the bench fairly easilly if you were not worried about getting your clothes wet.

  • *possible

  • I just wanna know how often is it that girls do Parkour cause i really wanna learn and i know heaps of guys don't think that girls can do it but it is ossible for a girl to do it right?

  • of course its possible lol.. its encouraged..

  • I'm not quite sure if what I have been doing is Parkour lol. I've been practicing vaults, climbing, jumping, precisions etc. but I'm having a lot of fun so I don't know if I'm doing it right.

  • It is not dangerous to train raining?

  • this looks pretty epic

  • i did condition today at rain and nothing happend to me

  • gloves are nice... but never realy required... i personaly love training in the rain for the simple fact its a different world compleatly... metle becomes ice... wood is like oil and u can barely trust the cement u stand on. the lighting is better though

  • and if its night time then everything is harder to see.

but if you master everything in the rain, then Dry, nice weather is childs play.

  • gloves are only good if you end up NEEDing this, like if you're really escaping someone/thing.

Don't wanna risk hurting your hands when you really need em.

  • @freakychick95 oh yea lightening is GREAT.

kong vault! underbar! tic-tac to cat TO FRIED CAT... the metal may be ice but its actually metal and if youre touching it you better hope there are at least 5 things around you that are also metalic, but really really tall. anyways i'll have to try training in the rain sometime soon. it seems like a good challenge and very beneficial to my training. i agree gloves are nice, but i just wear a wrist band on my palm to avoid the dreaded BLISTERS.

  • You guys should train in all conditions so you could be ready if somthing happens you can go for it and get 2 where ever u need 2 go in a hurry with out running thru crowds or cars

  • WITH THE Parkour i broke two time the leg anD one the ar

  • David Belle once said in an interview, "If you're in a situation where someone needs help and all you can say is, 'I'm sorry, 5 years ago I could have helped you,' you're useless." I think of this the same way. If it's raining and someone needs your help and all you can say is, "I'm sorry, if it weren't raining I could help you," then you're useless. If you don't train for those situations, you won't be able to perform. End of story.

  • Well said, thats how you have to train to prepair for every think and even if your not a good in the rain your still better than what you would have been if u hadn't have trained in all conditions

    Peace out

    Andy

  • @MitoAgnt fuck'an asshole, I do parkour and I was like damn..."FUCK THAT" to the vid, then I read what you wrote....fine I'll wait till it rains, asshole if this ends bad its your fault, but I'll give it my best

  • @MitoAgnt same goes for snow too.

  • the rain is natures challenge, u have too face it. or u dont prove anything. if ur good at parkour when it's dry but not wen it's wet. if u need parkour for something buts its raining u cant just walk around obstacles.

  • I love training in the light rain! But I hate training on a crazy hot day, every time to grab something it burns your hand!

  • lol, i have overactive sweat glands ( maybe ) so after about five minutes of anything, even though im not fatigued at all anything i grip i slip off of and it sucks bawls

  • You need gloves. Or tape/wrap your hands.

  • InMythxGodIsForce :

Wrist bands also help keep arm sweat from getting to ur hands

  • thanks:)

  • I feel you. I tried to PK the past weekend on a hot day - the metal was burning hot, but I kept going. After about 20 seconds on monkey bars, I had five blisters and had to stop bar work!

Always keep gloves with you. ;-)

  • Osthushusost, you r wrong.you should train in all conditions (i won't mark 'em all) to prove ur skills applying them in the random situation, which could happen at random time in random conditions.straightly yesterday i had a nice opportunity to have a fulllength training session in the rain, and we did everything, possibly for doing that wet evening. we proved uor skills in such conditions trying to find new ways to overcome the obstacle.try such kind if practicing and i thunk you'll like 'em))

  • Doing parkour in the rain is really just stupid. The risk of hurting yourself is really big (obvious). Things get slippery and you can't be sure what is safe and what is not. My advice is to only do parkour in "dry" weather.

  • for all those that are afraid of training in rain, parkour os to learn to use your body for any situation, not for train just in a nice sunny day

  • conditioning + flexibility in rain is fine.

but precisions and rails! In the rain!

    are you CRAZY?

  • lol

  • Rain and Darkness lol worst time to practice ever

  • No, best, because you just do what vou REALLY can do and focus really hard.

  • Be carefull...

  • holy shit you don't do it in the rain!!!

it are dangerous whoever does parkour in the rain is really daft!

  • It's alot more dangerous in the rain.

When I jumped onto a metal bench in the rain, I slipped and my knee swelled up. Could have been worse, I almost hit my other leg and that would have been terrible.

  • Metal + water = Danger.

  • I glad thats the Parkour is have became a popular between youngsters of all around the world. That is very good discipline. But... it extremely dangerous. Be carefull all who want to parctice it.

  • @ Vectar (cause the reply system is dodgy) Parkour can be dangerous, in the same was Soccer is dangerous. If you are training correctly there should be no danger while training. Actually doing Parkour (as in to escape) yeah sure that's dangerous, but at that point does that really matter?

  • Parkour doesnt have termin like training. You can train you body in gym and make yourself faster and stronger. But parkour is parkour, this is way of life what can make you better if you'll choose it. This is not sport, and it is not the game. I saw like real good tracers broke arms and legs on elementary places. It is absolutely normal.

  • i kill spammers, londanboy.

  • training in the rain is dangerous and difficult. did u see them on the metal bar? i couldn't do that? xXx

  • u try gripping any virtical wall or well anything at that matter in the rain.

    its a very wet hell

  • You try doing wall runs while the walls are wet and it's raining, then you get back to me about how easy it is.

  • yeah okay, that would be difficult, but they're not doing that

  • @TheRoboNapkin that's the point you need to find a new way to get over the obstacle its just a new environment

  • @Abadiginals

thats why its called training, and not showing-off

  • Wow. Good one.

  • really? do you really have to over-compensate over the internet for something you really dont have?

OH MY GOD IM SO INSULTED BY SOMEONE I WILL NEVER MEET.

  • oh i just love being threatened over the INTERNET.

dont make promises you cant keep

  • you, sir, are retarded

  • ...not impressed

  • In The Rain We Slip And Die.

trust me, don't ever train parkour in the rain, it's crazy dangerous and you'll problably get yourself a broken arm or leg.

  • the reason why they do this is to be useful no matter when, no matter what the weather is. trouble doesnt wait for it to be sunshiny outside.

as long as you are careful, like you are sposed to be ALWAYS in parkour, you'll be fine

  • why do you train parkour? curious

  • i train to one, better myself, and two, in David Belle's words, to be strong to be useful.

  • what do you mean useful?

  • to be useful in any situation, whether it be chasing down someone who stole a purse, to helping someone in a fire. to be strong to be useful. thus the training in the rain is vital, cuz trouble doesnt wait

  • dont listen to these dudes, they r prob jealous cause they cant do parkour. If you guys thinkj you can, post a vid

  • very nice i find it hard to train in ze rain but it is better keep training n train safe

  • 5 STARTS!!!

  • lol

  • lol the begining looks like something for "the water babys"

  • If he doesn't then I'd be fucking dissapointed 'cause I wanna watch that.

  • even if it is wet you have still go to take chances to become a grate freerunner

  • freerunning is the best ting enyone could do and i dont give on if it is raining or not or if things are wet !!! i will free run in any conditions

  • very nice video!!

  • Of course It's safe to train in the rain. I been training in the rain and in the snow. Thing is that you just have to train very diffrent.

  • isnt that abit dangerous?

  • AAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!! rain, the sworn enemy of he tracuer, being overcome by those brave few, I hate rain, and living in scotland doesn't help

  • I don't know whether I agree with training in the rain.

At least not at my level.

My training areas can get very slippery and I'm not very experienced.

I just don't want to cause any serious injury that could put me out of training for the days when I feel safer in my movements.

I know lots of people will disagree completely but while I lack some of the control and strength needed for training in unusual conditions I'll stick to dry and or sunny. :)

  • ur right. it depends on your level and feeling to do that :)

  • Parkour is about adapting to every environment so you can move through it effectively. What if you had to get from point A - B and it happened to be raining? Besides, you wont get injured as long as you use common sense like you should be doing with everything else. If you decide to train in the rain, you'll notice it greatly increases your spatial awareness and it will increase your safety. David belle trains in the rain during night.

  • PS. David belle was the French founder of La 'Art' du deplacement, which he named parkour and Sebastian Foucan was the French founder of Free running.

  • yeah but if it was raining and you wanted to get from point A to point B youd take a bus of taxi

TBH there is no need to do it in the rain when you could just w8 till the next day and do it in the sunny weather

  • what if you're being chased by people in the rain.. parkour is about applying it also in certain situations..

And people like you are the discouraging people; who badmouth the absurd ideas that are sometimes have awesome results.

  • what if you were waiting for your taxi and some hoods came out to try and kill you you would let them kill you because you wanted to wait for tommorrow. you obviously arent a real traceaur or you would embrace all weather situations

  • No you wouldn't let them kill you. A smart person would fight back instead of running away. But if you don't know how to defend yourself then running away is perfectly fine.

  • And from the cops? lol

  • yeeeeh suuuure a smart person would rush a guy with a knife

  • what if you were getting mugged, and it was raining? you wouldn't sit there and yell for a taxi, would you? it's important.

  • No, you defend yourself. But like I said in my reply above, if you are unable to defend yourself; it would be wise to be able to escape in the rain.

  • Jah.

  • u must run if u can and fight if u can't run.

  • I see your point, however, I do also see his. The most important part of parkour is losing all of your fear, and the rain is like a nightmare for any tracuer (or however it's spelled) I suppose as long as you aren't doing any life threatening jumps it is perfectly safe. You can't stop running for anything.

  • 1st Sabastian is not the founder of parkour David belle is.

2nd the more you over come the weather the better you will be come all round, yes it is not safe but its what it takes to be come the best you can be
