  • i live in the uk and am fed up with people who blame everyone else for their misfortune. those people who dont even bother looking for jobs and moan bout how awful it is for them while taking money from those who do try to do better. Im 21, have a fantastic fiance, a mortgage on our own house, a nice car, and studying for an illustration degree. my life is awesome because I CHOSE IT TO BE SO!! and trust me im not takin handouts frm rich parents!! gd luck Beauvais family.

  • i could not imagine living in that clayton house, i am pretty poor i am a teenager, and im hoping to be a sports announcer, and you inspired me to reach towards my goal thank you

  • I love you, Dina!!

  • This Beauvais mom is fantastic with the affirmations!! LOVE her!

  • I love the Beauvais family...their mindset is perfect! :D

  • Wow, what a beautiful home! See what hard work does for you?

  • I want my mom to do that

  • @nilowishblue7 I was thinking the same thing. P.S. I manifested this comment :)

  • Dina Beauvais is my new Role model!

When I grow up I want to be JUST LIKE HER!

I love her possitive thinking and how optimistic she is!

    I just love her!

My new goal is to be like her ^_^

  • the Beauvais's seem nice but the way she keeps saying "manifested this" "manifested that" is quite annoying

  • Dina is so amazing... Her family is nice and healthy and i think its nice to have goals

  • I love the Beauvais' house!

  • You can afford dessert but not vegetables? What the what? even in winter, cabbage and carrots are cheap!

as far as dessert- baked apples are yummy and inexpensive too

  • The family from Indiana makes me sad :/

  • Lauren looks so much like her dad! It's too adorable!

  • when you are poor, you go scouting for jobs. money can't buy you everything but it will benefit you and it will show you that dreams can come true when you can afford the best and what you always wanted. I think Mrs. Beauvais and Walt Disney are excellent examples of showing how hard work and belief can help you by 1km. Im 13 and after watching this i want to be a business woman making hotels and a fashion designer.

  • I love the Beauvais family! I see noting wrong with them at all. Just wonderful people who work hard to get to where they want to be. And they share it with others so others can do the same. People like the Calyton family are just lazy!!

  • Oh man. I have a feeling this episode might make me cry.

  • The Beauvais seem like great people.

  • It's the positive attitude that you guys have and give that help people achieve their dreams. If you don't think you can, you're probably right.

  • @shadowdancerist

she means they die inside. duh. not actually die physically.

man alive, what a stupid thing to say. get some brains.

    Not literally of course.

  • Wow this is so inspirational!!! I want to be in a high position of government forest management but sometimes I feel like I might never reach that dream. Now I know I can!

  • Dina is a true winner. Now THAT'S awesome. =)

  • They sent Dina to the hardest place to try and inspire people! Indiana is full of depressed people!

  • I, so far, like both of the families in this episode. I like the Beauvais family because of their additudes and lovingness. I also like the Clayton family because they show you don't need alot to be happy. I am a child of a single mother, and we don't have alot so this show seems pretty good.

  • whatcha gonna do when the largest arms in the world run wild on you!

  • @Mattdaddy612 82 in pythons??? LOL

  • 06:52 <====== LOL, classic!

How many uni students do that!

  • at 4:36 is that a dead animal ? o.O

  • I remember watching a doco about a church where a lot of homeless people lived, not actually inside but in doorways the patio. One woman was living in the same doorway for weeks and everyday she swept it and packed up her makeshift bed, made sure her clothes were clean (probably some charity laundry) and her hair was brushed. No matter how poor you get, there is no excuse for lack of self-respect and dignity.

  • I like you're attitude and that you're taking care of yourself and have a house and everything planed out, but at times you seem kinda fake..! Like when you wake your doter up. After a while i would see through it and understand that you're just doing it as a routine and that you¨'re kinda compulsive and creepy, but im only assuming you do that every morning so i could be wrong.

But without the fakeness your awesome :)

  • I think if my mom had talked to me the way Mrs. Beauvais talks to her kids, I probably would have been a much happier person.

  • The slob family ANNOYING me sooo much!!! Mrs Slob says if you go and line up for a job there's going to be 150 people already there,so she's really saying why bother? and there's house is FILTHY DIRTY!!! it hasnt got anything to do with being poor, they havent got any standard of hygiene!!!!!

  • I manifested my husband...and I got IT.

  • At 5:04, I see 4 Big Gulps that must must have cost 4-5 dollars each. Perhaps they could have bought laundry detergent with that... Just sayin.

  • @davem0ney Not that I'm defending them, but I don't think the government pays for soup kitchens. What is sad is the fact that they usually rely on private donations from people, local businesses and are held at churches. I used to volunteer at one at a church and I have NEVER seen such miserable moochers like this family. They are meant for people to use as a last resort and are desperate. These people are actually proudly planning to eat their regularly. I feel sorry for the kids.

  • @TheBubblemuncher i totally agree... I usually can't stand motivational speakers. They usually come off as phony scammers, but she truly seems sincere and to believe in her work.

  • I usually get really annoyed by the wealthy families on the show...but the Beauvais have become successful through positive thinking and you can't really judge them for that. That's the way to go in life. :)

  • She's pretty hefty for being 'poor'.

  • Beauvais are such an inspiring family!

  • @MyDreamProgram So are you a member of the Beauvais family?

  • I also wish dina was my mum!!!!!! She is so nice, the other mum just doesnt care about anything!!!!!!!

  • @MrHippyland Awwww, thank you! I'll have my kiddos read this :-)

  • Okay people, this is what you get when you google old college girlfriends. I

I first asked her out after realizing that the best looking gal in my lecture hall of 350 was now also my lab partner. Thankfully it was her and not the other wife. Dina really was always sunny and optimistic, I wish her well.

  • @TheRealFastRabbit Hi there, thanks for your response.

  • did anyone say MILF....

  • Oh no...this is painful for me to watch. I feel so bad for the poorer family, and not just because of poverty. The whole attitude that they don't need to change a thing about their lifestyle is just heartbreaking. Ha, Dina(Deena?) reminds me of my mom. Positive thinking leads to positive feelings and actions, so it does help people!

  • @TheBubblemuncher, thank you for this wonderful compliment!

  • 5:12 They don't live in a trailer...they live in a manufactured home...

    Lol.

  • when was this originally aired? are they making new ones? and will you be posting more? :)
