the Lincoln's split level design makes it really awkward but with 180hp and 43mpg I'd almost drive it...blindfolded. Round out the back more and reconfigure the grill work and it just might work. I do like the fact that the wheelbase is close to the car length, makes in city driving and parking much easier.

The Lincoln C Looks just like the Renault Megane II (2002-2008). Hideous.

I dont see the point in them making a "small luxury car" especially if it looks like that. If you want a small luxury car, get a Lexus IS250/Audi A3...these would be in the same competing class as the Lincoln C. (luxury, 4door, small)

Whether it wears a Lincoln badge or Ford (or Mercury, or whatever), I think it'd be a great addition to the Ford family line-up... Direct injection, turbocharger, 180HP, 40+MPG, dual-clutch transmission, and all in a modern, compact package. This seemingly "straight out of Europe" combination of technology and specifications is precisely the sort of thing we need more of here in the States (as long as they can deliver this sort of product at a competitive price point).
