Actually Giant Food exists largely in the suburban areas encompassing Washington DC and Baltimore (including those 2 cities), plus in Charlottesville VA.(which is near some "stick" towns, but itself is fairly progressive lol) Maybe you're thinking of another Giant Food chain based in PA, they may have more rural stores? Ironically both Giant chains are owned by Ahold, a Dutch holding company. The Giant chain in this vid was locally owned when Milton was there, but alas no more.

He put his own safety last and saved this woman from being struck by the moving vehicle driven by a 3-4 year old who was left unsupervised by a grandparent who should have had enough sense to tell his granddaughter to remain where she was at and to not play with the car or take her with him; even though, it was perhaps for only a few seconds to a few minutes because you never leave a small child unattended in a running vehicle.

no I just took a car seat safety class in 07 (I'm a foster parent thats why its mandatory) and the instructor said that the law says that until the child is 60lb and 6 yrs old (must meet both requirments) to be without a car seat, I suppose if the child was 11 and was under 60lb witch is possible with foster kids by the way, that the kid would have to be in a booster seat,thats what the instructor told us so if a child reaches 6 yrs of age and they arent 60lb they must be in a car seat.

I dont know when this was made but, if it was in the 90's then why wasant that little girl in the back seat in a booster seat? I mean hello?? is that father stupid? that girl dint look any older than 5 or 6 and the law says that children have to meet both requirements both weight and age before they r allowed to not be in a car seat. Even if she did meet both of those requirements a responsible parent wouln't let a child sit in the front seat in the first place, not one that young anyways.

I dint say air bags, I said car seats. I know they were back in that day since I had one and I was born in 1986. The law says kids have to be in a car seat till they meet both weight and age requirements, age 6yrs old, weight 60 pounds. Thats what I said in my other coment I dint mention air bags, I know they dint have those yet.

I wasn't disagreeing about the car seat, I was addressing the backseat part. I assumed you were implying that since it was the 90's that she should have been in the back due to airbag danger.

oh ok i see lol, no I just meant that she should have been in the back seat cause its the safest place for a child, if he had a wreck she would fly right thru the windshield. thats just my opinion tough, my mom never let me sit in the front seat, until I was like 12 or so. just saying it is safer basically in general, not just cause of the air bag actually that dint even cross my mind lol.

no I just took a car seat safety class in 07 (I'm a foster parent thats why its mandatory) and the instructor said that the law says that until the child is 60lb and 6 yrs old (must meet both requirments) to be without a car seat, I suppose if the child was 11 and was under 60lb witch is possible with foster kids by the way, that the kid would have to be in a booster seat,thats what the instructor told us so if a child reaches 6 yrs of age and they arent 60lb they must be in a car seat.

i would tell you not to blame him but the kid was not supposed to be in the front; he really does care about oher people. the first thing he said when they were about to cut his pants "my wifes gonna be mad" so hes caring and unselfish he would make a good angel in heaven
