@aspiringdrummer17 I've got the 2.0 JTDM engine. However, I've driven the 1.4 MultiAir and was impressed with the performance. I suggest you test drive to see for yourself which you prefer. The Giulietta is a great car which gets alot of positive attention. I went for the Veloce trim with optional sat nav. I recommend this model, you won't be disappointed.

@u1430 Sounds great. I've also been considering the Fiat Bravo and this new Punto Evo as I've always admired the Grande Punto and imho I think the Evo looks even better. I fear the Giulietta might be just a bit more than I'm willing to spend atm but I've seen some really great deals on the Bravo brand new. I just wanted something a bit different from a Golf, Focus, Astra etc. They're all good cars but they're far too common and boring

It's worth considering the Punto Evo is going to be refreshed for 2012. The new TwinAir engine will be available. I think it looks rather good - a cross between Grande Punto and Evo. @u1430 Yeah that Punto looks good but I still personally prefer this Evo. I really like the chrome strip across the front of the bonnet similar to the 500. I think it looks classier than the Grande and the 2012 Punto, but that's just me. I'm surprised Fiat are revamping the Evo so soon. It doesn't seem to have been out that long

I cant understand your depreciation criteria for cars like Giulietta and Punto EVO! Are you magicians with clairvoyance? You can not compare the Alfa Romeo 147 depreciation with cars built in 2010 like Giulietta!! How can you foresee how successful and reliable will be? I have a Fiat Grande Punto T-Jet costed 15.000€ and after 3 years i can sell it easily for 10.000€! thats 2/3 of the price back! the VW Golf's in my country 3 years old (2007) have depreciated double!!!!! 1/2 of price back!

I dont know your source but in an reliability statistic of Autotriti.gr FIAT was more reliable than VW for one place 21th and 22th for fiat and vw. The test was about cars built the last 5 years. worst brands was jaguar then Alfa romeo (but before build Mi.To and Giulietta) then Renault, Mini chrysler-jeep, SEAT and 9th worst reliable was Audi..
