No, no, no - Friends is a warm comforting, an ultimately undemanding sitcom. Cold Feet was actually about stuff and pulled off hilarity, tragedy and everything in between. I actually think the further away we get from the show, the better it holds up. And crucially, you don't have the US cheese factor to deal with.

its likely, steven moffatt is now taking over as head writer for series 5 in 2010, and james nesbitt has been in pretty much all of his best shows including coupling and jeckyll, so hes first choice pic at the moment
