well, how many RPM's are you getting? If you were getting around 800, what I would do is hook up an altenator to it and run an inverter to run electricity in a house... That's just me though, we have an endless supply of water, HUGE well... Being able to reuse it somehow would be even better too, but that's an other idea.....

I tell people to never disregard older (and old) technology...all except for nuclear fission. Knowing more about things and how they work makes you a more independent person.
You will need a Harley generator ( rewired for slow speed charging) and a drum for the water wheel, impellers are made out of 2`` pvc pipe cut in haft.

I heard a lot about that alternater and have friends that use it they can run the power long distance as AC and with very little water to push it

You can get more power from alternator by connecting it to a 3000Hp petro engine!!

you can get more power if you make output of the water wide as blades,good job.

Yes' but with no load.That`s a harley PM generator with a smaller gage rewired. I will put it in a small tream to see how it will do!
