It used to make me cry even when I heard Croom talk.He's a great man.he wasn't a great head coach.He developed a good attitude and Mullen has come in and done an amazing job so far with minimal talent.I am dying for the next 3 or 4 years to be over with to see what he does with the program.

i posted this 4 months ago, i was still in payback mode for the insane amount of trash talking done over a 3 point win the year before, state was suposed to be so much better than ole miss yet when we got a coach we all found out about the big talent gap between the two programs. Hopefully state will become competitive again so our state of mississippi can be respected in college football and the egg bowl can mean something again. good luck

This is a GREAT video! And Croom is such a GREAT guy! Regarding this game and the Liberty Bowl, am I the only one who thought that Croom was being a little conservative on offense? I just hope we can get some momentum in the passing game this season.

Nothing but goosebumps and tears after watching this video. I new i loved Coach Croom from the start, and his hard work has really shined thtough this year. Those boys he has brought up have HEART...and the CHARACTER that Sly was talking about at the end of this video. After seven years of trying to tune out our misfortunes during football season, Coach Sylvester Croom and his staff have rekindled a part of me that has been suffering for years now.

i still think coach jackie was the best thing that ever happened to Mississippi state football. like it or not he got us to bowls and got us on tv. so in closing, I dont think anyone will ever live up to what he did for us unless they win a BCS championship.

jackie was a great coach and did alot of good things for state..but his demise was the lack of discipline he let the team become..he could not control the players who some of them turned out to be thugs..good players but thugs never the less..and i'm glad i don't have to hear about how state is nothing but thugs, anymore!

75-75-1...I don't think that Coach Croom will have any problem beating that record if he choses to stay for a while. The Jackie Years a long gone and I fell confident The Croom Years, in the long run, will be better. Integrity always wins!
