I was watching this song and read your comments, I come from bangalore southern part of India and now in UK. and till I came to UK I did not even know that Sikhs are of a different religion!! I thought it was part of Hindu religion, because most of my friends celebrate diwali and other festival with us and I was under impression that Gurunanak preached peace and was trying to bring both religions together. Bhagat Singh was IN FACT AN ATHEIST, and that makes me respect him even more.
I don't however believe that Bhagat Singh was a communist as the guy who uploaded the video portrays him to be. He was rather inspired by the revolutionary tone that communism had. He was, however a freedom fighter, and died as a revolutionary.
People associating him with communism to serve their OWN communist agenda doesn't do justice to such an icon.
