i built a recreation using k'nex too..... actually i just finished it tonight, it works perfectly......it is 5 ft 3 inches tall.. i couldn't get it to twist on the way down :( .......but oh well that's the only flaw

And just to confirm it, he shows an angle where he lets the car go (having been wound up with rubber bands) and sits there and watches it go through the track.
