  • When using the reverb did you turn the ch1 button off.

  • whats the song at 5.05 to 5.33 please if anyone would be good enough to answer

  • @willbazza Slide - Goo Goo Dolls

  • can you run two guitars and one mic at the same time through this amp or is it either two guitars or a guitar and one mic

  • @fergal001 Two guitars or a guitar and one mic, as far as I know. There are only one set of controls for the second input.

  • if i got an "Ibanez montage" what amp would sound best? an electric or acoustic?

    plz reply :D

  • because you can run this amp through a pa system can you use it as your own stage monitor.

  • @fergal001 Absolutely. In my Collective Soul - Shine cover (one of them, anyway) you will see me using it for this purpose. I have the PA setup, but then have the amp positioned so I can hear myself without introducing feedback.

  • That had feedback on it all the way through. Can't you hear that?

  • @IanReentrant That's just the camera...this thing sounds like a jewel

  • Maybe I'm crazy but I prefer the sound of an acoustic coming from a PA system more than these acoustic amps. They always seem to sound thin. I also don't like the sound of new strings and all the acoustic amps I've tried make that new string sound. They also sound too compressed. I like old school acoustic tone can any acoustic amp produce a similar tone to Neil Young's "Harvest'? They just seem too "Hi-fi" or is it just me? Maybe my ear is bad? No, I have stellar ears, lol

  • This amplifier is compatible with other acoustic music instruments? I mean that if i have a microphone I can play in it with for example saxophone?

  • @The77SpaceMan I don't see why not.

  • Hey man i was wondering because i have a condenser mic and the way i understand from everything i read up on this little guy has everything on board to run that through without having to have anything else is that correct

  • @jlskaterboy22 Other than a cable, you should be all set. ;)

  • @azb24 Ok thank you very much man you saved me from going through the hassle of buying a expensive preamp!!thanks a bunch :)

  • Please for now on dont talk just play that was a whole lot of BS.

  • Thank you....this was a very helpful video. Have you heard of anyone using this amp with a theremin?

  • lisp

  • Thank You for taking the time to explain all the goodies I just ordered the Amp and look forward now to performing with it.

I was scared because ordering online is totally blind faith but with your help i feel much more secure with my purchase.

    God Bless

  • would this amp sound good with 2 acoustic guitars plugged in?

  • Hi, would you use this one to amplify an archtop with a low output humbucker or will it sound bad? Regards.

  • I own this exact amp. I do play out with it on occasion if the room is smaller and fits a 50watt sound. . However, personally, I would say that this amp is predominantly best utilized for home or self-studio work. It puts out a really nice warm tone with an acoustic guitar ( I play 3 different acoustics into it), and they all sounds great. It also sounds true running an XLR into channel 2 for vocals. Overall, a very nice amp considering the acoustic amp competition.

  • Hi mate thinking of buying one of these amps , do you think it would be good enough and loud enough for a acoustic soloist playing in bars or pubs????

  • @nhouse07 Depends on the size of the place, but I think it would be just fine.

  • @azb24 Hi im planning to buy this amp??? I play at church... BTW i play a takamine ef360sc do you recommend me this amp for my guitar and for the use that i need? Thanks!

  • @aldobu1990 yep, should sound great. I always recommend trying it out first in the store if you can just to make sure. Good luck :)

  • @nhouse07

This is PLENTY loud enough for a bar or pub...trust me.

  • :O awesomee!

do you have any tabs from 3:03 - 3:32 ??

    thanks :)

  • @Shredder00ZaKk check BSO from the movie "Once"

  • this kind of amp, works well for CLASSICS guitars as well right?..im about to buy i nice classic guitar so its really important for me to know. thx.

  • Do you know if this amp will go louder than drum kit?

  • @Tudge12 It is only 50 watts, so that could be a tough proposition. It does have a direct-out in the back for connecting to a PA for more power if necessary.

  • There's a high pitched ringing to it....feed back...

So many people are negative about this amp.I like mine but for some reason a also bought a Roland and have left this one behind, though I can't get rid of it.

  • There's a high pitched ringing to it....feed back...

  • Have you tried a mic through this amp? Do you think this amp would work for a digital grand piano?

  • @gaawdzaambi Yes. Mic sounds very good through this amp. I'm not sure about a piano, to be honest.

  • I was leaning towards the fender acoustasonic, but the more I hear this amp the more I feel like it's the better choice. It doesn't have as many effects or ooo-hickies, but amazing sound quality. Marshall truly is a top amp company...

  • This one sounds better thant my acoustasonic, warmer sound

  • do you play effects through the acoustic into the amp and if you do can you put up some videos of using your board

  • @TheApocalypsePlease I don't run any effects with my acoustic, sorry.

  • is there a fuse in this amp? I think I blew mine and want to see if I can replace it.

  • Hi ...what doe's it sound like with a SM58 Shure mic... Thanks Brad

  • Very well presented. Almost like a demo in shop, with you doing exactly as I would have (strum / test effect / volume etc.). Thank you for taking the time to do this presentation (and for the level of video/audio quality).

  • I am not sure about your comparison with Roland. Had AC-60 and it has really different and much clearer sound, in my opinion. But thanks for the demo anyway. Interesting amp for its price.

  • Sounds AWFUL.........Jesus so bad sound ......But thanks enyway

  • absolutly woarldsless demonstraition...;You can talk and talk but nothing ever gonna happend....okey now i see that you have a sound tone. Well lets see if this want me too buy it......

  • Do you have the Supertramp tune on a Lesson Video? If not, could you post one?

  • @VENTUREKID56 Hi there. Sure, when I get some time I'll try to crank one out. Stay tuned.

  • Again very helpful...Did you try any of the Fender acoustic versions? A bit hard to compare with their inhouse comericials...I like the balanced output......Thanks again for the details....

  • @BurtonBoyz715 Very welcome. I did play through one Fender that was really nice as well. It was a bit out of my price range, though.

  • Well done^^

Whats the first song? A little bit longer or something like that or? Wich band?

  • @TheChosenOneXY I don't know - I was just messing around. hah

  • You Taylor sounds like shit!

  • Sound so good !!! I love your 2 videos guy, thanks so much !!

    I want one !!

  • I play a taylor 614ce through it and it sounds pretty cool !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AS50D MARSHALL.

  • hi. im looking to buy marshall AS50 R. would u recommend it? i want to play at home mainly or at times in a small gathering with family n friends. i m interested in this 1 is coz i want to b able to plug mic as well. i hve a sm57 mic. so could u plz guide me if i should go for it or not. thx.

  • As far as I know, the AS50R has been discontinued (unless you're buying used). The AS50D is the only one they still make. Either way, for home and small gathering/gig use, this amp is awesome. It is easy to use and sounds great.

  • @azb24 thank you so very much for answering to my query. yes i wanna buy a used second hand AS50R which is in pretty new condition. I see that both look pretty much the same. would you still recommend me getting it? cheers.

  • Yeah, I definitely think it is worth it.

  • Nice demo and thanks, wow you sure can talk...

  • Thanks for posting this really helps.

  • This amp sounds muddy -try an AER or Fishman amp and hear the difference in clarity.

  • @cob408 im new can i use a strat on it

  • No, this is an Acoustic-only amplifier.

  • I have one of these amps, love the thing, just wish there was more EQ control but for the price I can't complain. However, I use my telecaster through just as often as my acoustic, gives it a unique and clean tone, especially if you use the reverb (tastefully). so yes, RetroReactiveZ, you can use your Strat on it, just don't expect to sound like Hendrix.

  • Great videos, very helpful. Is their an output for headphones on the AS50 or 100? I'm considering either of these amps but just wondered re the headphones for practising etc.

  • There is a 1/4" Line Out on the back of the 50, but it isn't emulated, so it probably wouldn't work well with headphones. I'm not sure what the 100 has.

  • how well does it work with the Nic pluged in as well. I am looking to buy one of these in the next week or to so your video has been very helpful. Thanks, Si.

  • Mic is very clear, just like the guitar tone.

  • does it distort when you crank it up?

  • I haven't attempted to fully crank it (no real need), but with that said, I can't get this thing to break up at all.

  • haha yeah i dont crank my amps up (parents get angry =/)

    sounds really nice though

  • hi

    don't know what to do!

    as 50D or as100D?

    thanks for your opinion.

  • That really depends on the application. The 100 is larger, has more power, and more features. I liked the 50 for the simplicity and price, but if you need more power or features, then the 100 is good.

  • hi

    merci

    your demonstration is cool

how sound the mic on this amp?

  • It sounds great. I just dialed back the bass a bit and it is very clear.

  • Hey from over in Phoenix. Nice work on demoing the amp... great picture quality. What camera and how did you do the audio? Thanks.

  • Hey from over in Gilbert ;)

I shoot video with a Flip UltraHD. All of the audio you hear on my videos is straight from the mic on the camera. No additional equipment or editing is used. It is a great little camera.

  • Cool
