And even the specs given on that comment are incorrect. that pc was passed on to my little brother. I've got a whole new rig. Unit scale was already at huge.

And the whole idea was that they couldn't get inside so get lost with the v formation. The spartans won most battles by routing the enemy, not just by killing them. Same here, the majority fled WHICH IS THE WHOLE POINT.

The only reason that the Spartans won in this video is because the Persians weren't attacking while they were filing through the gates. By the time that they even started fighting, the Spartans had already caused them to rout. If the Persians had been attacking while moving through the gate, the Spartans would have lost. There's no way around this, it's just how the game works.

@beastafy Yea thats part of it but efialtese in the movie? He was real, and he betrayed the spartans by showing the persians a mountain path, by morning the spartans were surrounded. In phalanx they would have lasted alot longer, but after being surrounded there phalanx was useless. Modern estimates suggest the spartans alone,300, killed around 7k-10,000 of the enemy before being surrounded and killed. Later the athenians defeated the persians in a naval battle at salamis tho.

I did a 300 experiment back when this game came out. Your guys are spread thin and not armored up enough. There were more than 300 Spartans on the West's side of the battle, butt... The Spartans were super elite and armored heavier than Hollywood shows. Take 1 unit of Macedonians and max them out on everything. Find the simple map with a bridge. Place the troops on the bridge and use your tools to tighten the formation. Those purple bastards will go through a meat grinder to the last!
