OMG i have my budgie for like 2 weeks now and i decide to let it come out of its cage and chill on the bed with me. and when i played this it like jump hug to my left shoulder and its just laying there all happyly. THANK U X3 it hasnt trusted me this much to be this close to me :3 im so happy
does it not hurt you when they peck ur fingers or their nails digging in to you. I have 2 budgies believe it or not. and since I bought them 5 months ago, im so scared of trying to tame them or get them oout the cage(as one budgie pecked my finger and it kinda hurt and its long nails scare me as i felt it sharp on my skin. I feel soooo cruel and guilty not letting them out the cage, ive actually advertised to sell them on gum tree website. :( any advice?????
its easy.... tilt your finger where there is less flesh and tight skin... if you put your hand in like that then it wont hurt and keep putting your hand in till they reallise it doesn't hurt... and the nails.... you will get used to it
@Theshofumiah1 I think they just need to get used to you. I've gotten birds from breeders who would bite to damage, aka would make you bleed, but if you have enough patience with them they will warm up to you. If it comes to it, some may not agree, but just wear gloves. That way you won't get hurt and they will start to warm up to you, something I had to do with a ex-breeding cockatiel. And as muslimcommunity786 said, you will get used to the nails. Best of luck! (even cheap winter gloves work)

My 4 birdies also sing all day - they are inside and I really enjoy it (99% of the time - haha sometimes I long for a bit of peace and quiet)

I really love listening to your birds singing, they have lovely voices. Mine tend to be more of the screaming types.
